Hi! My name is Parker. I'm not a company. I'm just a guy in recovery who made Nomo as a tool to keep me on track and motivated. Nomo is short for, "No More". It's a passion project of mine and I hope it helps you as much as it has been helping me!If you're looking for a simple clock that can track the number of days you've been sober/clean/etc, then Nomo is perfect for you. You can create as many clocks as you need for any hurts, habits, or hang ups. Your clocks are completely private by default and will count those days for you.
If you're looking for something more, just check under the hood. Nomo has tons of optional features like an encouragement wall from the community, accountability partner searching, clock sharing, private messaging with partners, milestone awards, journaling, little games/exercises to help you refocus when you're tempted, and tons more!
What makes Nomo so great?
• Create as many sobriety clocks as you need
• Find accountability parters!
• Share selected clocks with accountability partners
• Send a notification to partners when you're feeling tempted
• Send/Receive notifications when a clock has been reset
• Get a detailed breakdown of your progress down to the minute
• See how much money you've saved by not supporting your habit
• Earn chips when you reach certain milestones in your recovery
• Submit and read encouragements from the community
• View all of your chips at once to keep you encouraged
• Tap the “check in” button on your shared clocks to show accountability partners that you’re active in your sobriety
• Mini-distraction exercises to help you refocus when you’re feeling tempted
• Prevent someone from accessing your Nomo app with a secure PIN and/or Biometrics.
Nomo is perfect for anyone recovering from any kind of hurt, habit, or hangup. I hope it’s a valuable tool for you in your recovery.

Poor performance (Android experience) The app looks like it could be really helpful because it has a nice selection of tools, calculators, and options. It is free and you are able to keep up to date with a therapist or friend. The problem is how buggy, glitchy, slow, and unresponsive the app is. It is so infuriating to use that I would rather just forget about it which really sucks because it is meant to help us get better

Works much better on iPhone. I am using new phone and my buttons are covered by the ads. Also, had a lot of trouble getting buttons to respond. Great product and developer but needs some work to make a smoother experience. Edited 2/19: Much improved stability and interface and Parker really cares about helping people.

I love the idea of this app. It is very useful and exactly what I was looking for. But it is very easy to misclick, it is not intuitive to navigate. I logged myself out on accident but because I set a pin I can no longer log into the app. It looks like the only way to get back in is to make a new account. I type in my username and it prompts me to use my pin and then says my pin is incorrect and I cannot get back to the screen to enter my password.

Sorry, I hear great things about the iOS app, but this just is too frustrating to use for me. It doesn't work well with my autofill service (LastPass), and long-press-for-edit-menu doesn't work in the text entry fields so it's hard to paste. Last straw was that the time entry isn't standard and you can just change it by advancing 1 minute at a time. This would all have to be fixed before I would use it.

This is such a great tool! Yes, there are some glitch-y things that have been mentioned in other reviews (buttons not really lined up with where you need to press them) but overall it works well and is very handy. It can be used by people who are putting serious work into changing their lifestyle and habits, but it can also be used by people who just want to do a 'detox' and need an app to make the process more tolerable :)

Great app! It doesn't have as many features as other habit apps, but if you are logging the days (or hours, money spent, calories, etc.) of your bad habit, it's wonderful! There's also an online community you can be a part of. It's not as popular or as developed as Facebook, but it works for this cause. I would not recommend for adding in new healthy habits. There's no option to mark which days you did or did not do something; there's only a clock running which assumes you don't miss days.

Not all UI elements load in properly. When I first installed it NONE OF the UI loaded in correctly and I had to force quit the app to fix this issue. The ad at the bottom is partially obscured. You need to setup an online account to use this app. Every time you switch pages in the app you need to wait 5 seconds while it talks to the web. When you drag the settings menu up or down it registers the action as a button press instead of a drag. There is so much more but 500 character review limit.

Great concept, but the Android app needs some work. The text input fields are very difficult to write in (especially if you have to edit text), and the + & - means of selecting options is not great but any stretch of the imagination. Still, it's a simple app that does a great job of keeping you motivated in your sobriety, and the accountability partner feature is awesome. Understand that this was put together by a part-time developer, in his free time.
