The ads are horrible. Very intrusive. Quality game otherwise. 2023 update: Ads are still horrible. Most you can't turn the sound off, and the Facebook ad - ??? Why does Facebook need to advertise. And why THREE screens to sit through?? I understand the need for ads but they're the same 4 or 5 over and over. No reason we shouldn't be able to at minimum mute them. I like the game itself but went a few years without playing. Opened it up again and still a great game. Paid version anywhere??

PRO's: App Is almost ad free. Definitely No Ads interrupting game flow. Interface is pretty simple It's not overly busy like other games. Con's: Does NOT have multiplayer. Also the phone keyboard use is a little to slow. Must press the selected number several times for input. Overall app is pretty boring. Needs challenges and/or a rewards system would be nice.

Well that was disappointing! 1) there's no good reason your company needs access to my photos & wifi - I wish those permissions were optional rather than required 2) I gave permission and opened game, the very first thing I did was go to settings and turn OFF the sound. Then I tried to play my very first game and the first thing it did was turn ON the sound for a really LOUD ad. No thanks, uninstalled.

This has been my favorite Sudoku app for years. However, I'm not enjoying the new sound affects. I liked the older sounds that clicked and dinged. The new one that makes a weird yipp noise anytime you click something is annoying. But I did prefer the sound on before. If it was an option to choose what sounds were used that'd be great.

Amazing ideas, some serious problems. For starters, at the beginning of each game the 9 is automatically selected with # painting, but it shows as though, 1 is the selection, thus painting a 1 at the beginning will result in an incorrect. Additionally, when selecting notes, it is almost impossible to switch to another # for notes, unless you switch to normal #s and then choose a new # and then select notes again. It's very annoying. Very. Where's the ad free version? Where's the dark mode?

3/4/20 update: Game dumped me I was 161 in game win totals and the next time I open the app and play a game the is no leader board and fewer options to play. I have been playing for years but apparently I am not wanted anymore. Game is challenging enough but at any given time it stops adding up your score for several games. game kept crashing, reinstalled. gave me my score but not my hints and now shows my score higher than the next competitor but doesn't move me up

I'm enjoying this particular version. I got a new phone and the Sudoku game i used to play didn't work well on the new phone. This version deletes the numbers as they are completed. The hints I put on squares also delete as the numbers are used. I've only been using this a few days, but so far, I like it. The reason for leaving off a star is that I haven't figured out yet how to undo a number if I think I've made an error.

what a terrible app. too many unnecessary animations that waste your time when you play, and there's no option to turn that off which means you have to wait till the animation is over to make your next move. another thing which i hated were the number of ads on this thing. and you have to sit through them all. not to get extra lives or hints, but just to play the game! there are way better sudoku puzzle apps out there. no need to download this one
