This is a simple and lightweight launcher for turning your smartphone into a more minimalist device. It does not remove/block apps, but the changes it makes to the home screen's appearance serve as a reminder for me to use my device for it's intended purpose (a phone / tool) instead of a mental pacifier. There are no ads whatsoever, which is wonderful, because ads would defeat the purpose of the app. I hope that never changes. Great job developers, I can't wait to try out the newer version.

I have struggled with using my phone too much throughout these past few years. So, I started looking for different ways to cut back on my screen time. I ended up coming across this app, and it has changed my relationship with my phone entirely. I quit scrolling through my apps aimlessly and doing nothing for hours. This app will not fix your screen time altogether, but it will show you how to create distance between the screen and your daily activities. Overall, this is an amazing app!

I'm really enjoying the olauncher experience. It's clean, simple and really provides a less distracting experience. I had a minor issue with the app drawer and settings becoming invisible but when I mentioned it in my original review the developer replied immediately with a fix. So with the overall experience and that level of responsiveness and support, it's now a 5 star app for me. All in all, I'd recommend it as a great intro to minimal launchers.

Love it so far. Minimalist yet usable. Makes using the phone less addictive but more pleasant. Edit - the above still true, but a show stopper bug : some of the time on swipe up/ see all apps, the app list is empty. Yes I have tried the suggested remedy of allowing background use including following all instructions about unrestricted mode. I am sad to say that this fix does not work for me.

The new navigation is a little infuriating at first. However, once the panic of not being able to access all of your apps without typing their name wears off, it is much simpler and healthier than the usual android layout. I have not opened Facebook or Instagram once since I installed it last week. Where as before, my ADHD brain would be deep into doom scrolling before I'd even realize what I was doing. I highly recommend this for someone who wants to cut down on impulsive screen time.

This is the best minimalist launcher EVER!! All important features are completely free. It has such a nice home page, never glitches, optional daily background, screen time tracker, font size customization, option to rename apps, option to hide apps, easy option to delete apps, and straightforward layout. I could not imagine a better app launcher for my phone. It has improved my life dramatically and it makes my phone tolerable to use. Love this app!!!

Reducing phone usage can be tough, especially when you're neurodivergent and it's all so distracting. Olauncer makes you pair your phone down to its essentials while not slowing you down. The search is so fast and 7 apps on home screen plus gestures has me using all the key features of my phone super quick. Most apps charge you for ultra basic services olauncer is free and does more for my screen time then a suit of paid apps. I really recommend it.

I love the launcher, almost everything is perfect! I am just really missing one feature: on other launchers, I can but links to Google websites on the home screen. When using Olauncher I do not have access to those links/websites anymore without having to go the complicated way via Google/the browser. I would like it if some of the app 'shortcuts' on the Olauncher start page could also be such links!
