Edited review! I absolutely love, love, LOVE this app. It's so user friendly, not over loaded with ads and I love that the developers fixed the save issue I was having. 5 stars all the way! Original I love all of the recipes and its such a user friendly app. Its super easy to navigate. Only 4 stars because I can't save recipes in the app. I have to go to the desktop site to do so.

The app was decent, it was buggy but I could easily search for recipes if I couldn't find them in my saved recipes. Then, we just get an email saying it's suddenly going to be subscription only. It's a little frustrating that something that I was using free switched on me and is offering features I didn't ask for for money. I deleted the app because I can't take another subscription model app in my life.

The worst app I've ever used. So slow I could order a recipe book and get it delivered faster than it takes to search and load a recipe. And it's so glitchy it's practically unusable. I do not know how they have the cheek to charge for its use. I'll be cancelling and using money saved to buy some new cook books. Seriously, though, if you want to be really annoyed and irritated every time you fancy cooking something new, do download this app...

Dreadful. The old app (before they demanded payment) was excellent. Now you need to pay it's terrible. Crashes constantly. If you don't use it for days it doesn't remember your login. Keep having to delete the app & then re install it again before it works. Will definitely NOT be renewing the subscription & not recommending it.

Great recipes with easy-to-find search engine. However, I'm getting fed up with having to log in repeatedly with my email and password when all others self-populate when details have been saved. I'm still struggling with logging into this app, I'm on the verge of deleting it and going to another cooking app

I love BBC GoodFood and being able to access all the fantastic recipies. GoodFood is always my go-to for any recipe because they always work! However, the app is very slow, which can make it difficult to use. The search function could also be improved, I find it often doesn't give me the recipies I'm looking for (to get around this, I google the recipie I'm looking for, and then open the deeplink to the GoodFood recipie).

OK, but... can be slow and unresponsive. Logs me out repeatedly which is annoying. I'm not sure it's worth the subscription so may not continue with it after I have printed out my recipes. After trying it for a bit longer it seems to be getting even worse. Slow to respond, sometimes flicks from one page to another many times even when the phone is just sitting on the table. Bookmarked recipes take an ages to show. Just not worth the subscription, try something else and save yourself the anger.

This app is beyond frustrating. It is slow, lags and freezes. I often have to force a stop and open it again. The search is slow and it often crashes. I'm so disappointed as thd recipes are great and I would love the ability to save recipes (if it worked). I pay a decent amount for access to this app every year as I don't want to lose access to my favourite GF recipes but it's infuriating. Please sort it out BBC.
