Das Erhebungsinstrument basiert auf wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnissen und erfasst anhand von zehn bzw. zwölf Merkmale die beobachtbare Interaktionsqualität zwischen pädagogischen Fachpersonen und Kindern.
Einerseits ist das Ziel der Skalen, die Interaktionsqualität in der Praxis zu sichern und weiterzuentwickeln.
