Tennis in Australia isn’t like tennis anywhere else in the world. In January, Melbourne Park comes alive as the music pumps, the sun shines and the drinks flow. This is a place where the victories are harder fought, rallies more punishing and post-match interviews a little more candid. The Australian Open just hits different.
The official app for the Australian Open 2025 allows you to follow all the action in ways you won’t find anywhere else.
Want to keep across the best points from each match? Our immersive Stories highlights have got you covered.
Or perhaps you want an endless stream of short videos, personalised just for you? Be sure to check out our new ‘For You’ section.
What about the day’s top highlights? Head to our Videos section for all the action on and off the court.
Just checking a score? The latest scores, draws and schedules are what we do.
Maybe you want to explore videos from the AO archive? If they’re digitised, they’re all here.
You can also customise the app, so you get to experience the AO your way.
Simply set your favourite players, and we’ll customise the app, so you get your favourite players' real-time scores, draws and match highlight videos front and center. You’ll also get notifications when your favourite players’ matches are about to start, so you never have to miss a point.
If you’re lucky enough to be joining us at Melbourne Park, the “Visit” section of the app has got you covered with:
• Easy access to your tickets
• Personalised itinerary planner
• An interactive map displaying the best route and journey time to every part of the AO precinct.

Bad. Real bad. Constantly locking/freezing up. Couldn't get the Radio to work. Live scoring is delayed, very slow. Worst Tennis App I've ever tried (Usually the AO App is good, or has been in past years, and the other majors always provide great access and coverage). In a nutshell: it's so bad I'm using other means to following the Australian Open. A bummer.

The navigation bar is sluggish (at least 2s the change sections). The back button to close the app works randomly at best. Can't slide left or right to navigate through tabs. Worst is scores don't update properly. For example, Federer's match is stuck to 2-1 in the third set when it's been finished for a while now.

This is the worst AO app ever. I've never used an app that is so unresponsive. What's the point of having many features when it doesn't respond at all. Almost anything I try to click on the bottom navigation bar, no response. I only want to check the schedule, draws, and scores. But I'd rather use some other service to check these if the app is so unresponsive. I would give a negative rating for this app if I had the option. Please make the app responsive.

This app is inconceivably poor. It hangs constantly, doesn't register inputs (or if it does, takes upwards of ten seconds to respond), and constantly requires restarting, which involves another twenty seconds of waiting for it to load. Perhaps even more bafflingly, there is no manual refresh on any page except the home page of the Matches tab. What kind of spaghetti code exactly is this hack job running, and who designed it?

This year the app has been REALLY disappointing :( Slow to load, radio constantly cuts out. Often have to close and start again - not possible when driving. I kept hoping out would improve so didn't review earlier but no. Sigh. Now 2023 and several times a day I get 'critical error' messages. This is embarrassing, doesn't happen with any other Slam app :(

This app is disappointing. Previous years versions worked fine. This one is full of bugs and it crashes often. Might as well just navigate around a web page instead. You had 12 months to develop it properly. Maybe hire a new app team to get it right. Considering I will be in there nearly every day and need this app, as a) a parent of a ballkid and b) a spectator, this is truly frustrating.

This is by far the worst tennis app I've used of all the slams over the years. Live Score crashes nonstop. Even when it doesn't crash, the updates are always soooooo slow. Sometimes it shows score changes from 30min ago if I left it for a while. Draw tab always takes you back to Round 1. There is no profile link AT ALL; the only way is to go to More->Players to search. How could you think this is an acceptable app in this day and age? As 1 of the 4 slams, where is your pride?

Apparently there was an outage, which is why it wasn't working. So I reinstalled and now when I get to the first screen where you're supposed to pick a player and I tried to scroll up, it's very erratic. I couldn't get down to past the local players that picked for me. Some more feedback for you. It's not that big a deal because there's other ways I can select favourites, but it is kind of clunky like that.
