Was great until the most recent update. Mostly works, however, Can't open a lot of older scorecards on the app, yet they work on the Web page. I play regularly with a friend and had all of his scores as well, during the last update it lost all that data and renamed him as just "player", there's about 5 different versions of it with multiple scores all over the place. Slow, laggy and tapping map to find distances is a mission in itself, the distance pointer is never where I tap. Hopefully fix

***Switch to Golf Pad Classic for a bug free good experience and to not be a beta tester of a poorly overhalled app*** Warning for users, the "overhall" version of the app has loads of bugs and is so far feels like a downgraded version. I will update my review once they fixed the tonne of bugs or rolled back to the old version. Another update, another bug, now you have to swipe down the GolfPad notification before it lets you switch back to app, previously you could just tap it to return.

TERRIBLE update! Used to love app. Now can't even use it cuz standing on the teebox struggling w/ the app is annoying the sht out of my golf buddies ☹️ -can no longer exit/minimize from the splash screen -difficulty swiping up to reopen from lock screen -app keeps coming unpinned -keep getting error message to configure smart lock, even after just configured -dots at top of QuickScore screen no longer work. used to tap them to jump between holes, now must scroll thru every hole -Cuts&Snips is g

The latest update has made this app almost unusable. I have contacted them over the issues that I have had months ago and nothing has happened. I played last Wednesday and had to turn the app off as it keeps randomly changing settings and then the sound stops and I see that all the settings have changed in my round and it adds shots to holes. Very frustrating as it used to be such a good app.

Used to be great for getting a quick yardage without unlocking the phone - the yardage being displayed on the lock screen notification - but following updates it's no longer possible to advance to the next hole without unlocking the phone so much of the value has gone. It's still a nice enough app but for me this was its USP and there are many similar apps out there.

I upgraded my galaxy watch 3 to a 7 because the app no longer works on the 3. I didn't want to upgrade as my 3 worked great, but I was excited about the new features on the 7. I used the app today on my new smart watch and I was very disappointed. Given it's my first time with the new layout, I was struggling to adjust to the new watch layout. At this point I really prefer the old interface, if future rounds are as frustrating as today's. I will switch to a different app.

Edited review 14/2/25 After looking through the app I realised it was me that was causing the issue I was having with the app not counting my stabelford points correctly. I have now resolved the issue. It was a user error NOT an error with the app. I've put it back to 5 stars like it deserves. Also, great support and communication from the developers. Absolutely no need for a range finder with this app. Absolutely fantastic.

I was very pleased with the free Golf Pad app! Most recently the free app did not work and they want me to upgrade to premium. Not sure how much it cost and I would just like the basic yardage for each hole!
