I've used this for lots of tomfoolery: from messing with the TV when my sister's watching, to turning off the projector during class. Works flawlessly. The only problems that you could have with this app, is if you somehow have a device that's not listed in the remote list, or if you have a problem with your phone itself.

It works. I am happy enough that it can do a bit more than turn my equipment on and off. I can not say that it is a direct match to any remote that would come from the mfg. Most times the functions do not work or it takes a moment for it to work. This is one of the better free apps as I have also utilized the other types of remotes they have for my other equipment. Convenience works over functionality in my case this time. Looking forward to some improvement.

I like this app except for the ads. I do not wish to hear ads from a 'remote' app whilst I am trying to watch tv. Some of the ads interfere with 'ease of use' of the app, and some ads also cause the app to freeze. Therefore, my suggestion is that the DEV put up an 'ad-free' version of this APP, as I would happily pay for an ad-free version if reasonably priced.

Awesome in that it controls my TVs well. Would be great if I could configure the front page UI for each remote at least a bit - half of the buttons I want to access are buried in other pages. Loses at least one star for the masses of adverts that make it next to unusable now. Echoing the view of others that if you're going to add adverts before the main functionality of the app you need to provide an option to buy the app and not have adverts. For now I'm looking for an alternative.

BEWARE: Phones that lack an IR transmitter cannot work with this app (or any other phone app) without an IR transmitter attachment (if you're trying to control a typical TV with an IR receiver). That said, even if your phone lacks an IR transmitter you should still be able to control WiFi devices like Roku or Android compatible smart-TV's or devices. And you can always buy the IR transmitter for $10 or so. Only con is the ads. They come on roughly 1/5 the uses. 4/5 stars! Try it!

Well, it mostly works. What I need it for is a quick tool for changing things like inputs or volume when the actual remote is not close by. Unfortunately the input button only sometimes works or isn't even present on the remote and no way I can tell to customize it. Then you have to deal with all the ads. It's like having the remote stuck in a jack in the box using the app. An add is going to pop up and stop you from just muting the TV real quick but you just don't know when...

The fact that it works on almost all smart TV's AND has the IR ability if you do not, is pretty much all that's needed! Phones need the it blast capabilities to use the it feature, which only a few have it built in - you can get an adapter to make it work though - that's the only downfall of this app, and it's not even the apps problem. Great job! Could use a UI clean up!

I have an external IR light, in other apps it works, this one detects that I don't have an integrated one, but there is a button saying: "HOW TO USE EXTERNAL IR" when clicking it, it tells me to contact them via email for more information for some reason.. Ontop of that, the email adress isn't even available.... They recommended me to buy something and after that contact them. Now there is no way to contact them!
