I really love this app, although the created content is limited, this app does exactly what I've been searching for for years. If you are looking for a quick tabletop rpg quest to introduce friends or acquaintances to, this app IS the app to do it. On the other hand, if you're a DM/map maker, you can upload your maps into the app and use your phone or tablet for an easy to setup graphic tabletop experience. For five stars I would say the app needs a multiplayer like feature for players and DM.

This app has been the missing piece I need to be a completely mobile pick up GM and I love you for it. Your responsiveness and consistent feedback based improvements should be an example to the development community. Please keep doing what you're doing. That being said, I would love to eventually see the possibility to save your progress on custom maps and the miniatures in it within the app itself.

I know you view this as not worth it but I think you have a real product on your hands if you work it a little bit. I personally am considering buying it despite many putting it down. I think if you take it in the direction of an interface for digital battlemap locally or shared it could excel greatly. I personally would buy the $5 if it had a zoom function and ability to save scenario.

The idea behind the app is great. Perfect for playing small encounters with limited space. The app is missing some key features, however. It needs the ability to name the heroes (instead of player 1, player 2, etc) and the ability to zoom in/out. Also, I'd love to see a fog of war option. Finally, the ability to scale the grid larger or smaller. These options would make a KILLER app and would be perfect for most DM's needs. Keep it up!

Did not really offer what I wanted. Specifically, creature size is incredibly wonky. Instead of a large being a 2x2, it's more of a 1x2, making units much taller nstead of being wider. the custom token feature ($5) is VERY limited. No fine control, which is something you'd probably want... just a picture, 4 sizes to pick (again, with the same problems as before) and some 90° rotations. Neat. Grid scaling is also not very user friendly. Also pretty buggy UI in general, with overlapping menus.

It's like Roll20 on the go! Bonus of pixel art awesomeness! Please please please make the maps bigger, even if I have to pay for it. I can take a tablet or portable monitor and play D&D with friends anywhere and not always use theater of the mind. Suggestion: add objects like horses, columns, fire, magic runes, rocks, etc. Also, status effects when you see the HP of a hero or monster. -throws money at- edit: my party already likes the idea of an app. No one wants to lug around a 32" TV.

General UI has a lack of polish, but for a free app with only a five dollar kicker, it's worth your while. Handy if you want to mirror your phone screen to your television. Gripe: Is the UI grid scalable? It kind of sucks that I can't line up the "token slots" to a hand drawn grid. Even on the example maps this is a problem. Definitely not game breaking, but should be a feature in a phone app.

The app developers claim if you become a patreon member, you will receive free promo for some of the in-app purchases. For some time now, all their patreon page does is refresh and offers nothing but expired promo codes and the developers are not responding to complaints. The app does not offer a way to save your map and often will fail and restart itself if you change screens to another app, losing everything you've done. I have purchased two add-on packs and so far are very lackluster.
