Boomplay used to be my best but I've been having issues since 2 months ago. After downloading music offline it seems to disappear, I will still download it back just to come back and see that I have no music downloaded. This has happened for more than 10 times, I have updated, updated my phone, cleared cache, deleted the app and reinstalled it but the more I do all this things the more it gets worst. Am really disappointed that this bug has not been fixed for over 6 months now

I have to be honest to everyone and myself that lastest boom play version is a big scam starting with the unnecessary pop up ads and always watching an ad before you access your music library is so frustrating, I mean how can someone want to download a song a wait for 30 seconds of annoying ads that the user will not actually find useful or helpful, boompaly can do better than just putting after minute pop up ads I hope this review is helpful to someone. It asks for a password to extract the files, then you have to go to ZTA to get the password because the url that's supposed to take you to the password doesn't work. Then you have to download apps and play games to all these levels for coins to get the password. What a scam. Plus a lot of ads interfering and trying to redirect you. It also randomly plays songs I don't want to hear. I don't have time for games. I don't like online gaming. I just wanted to download one song.The app does nothing.

Thanks for updating payment options for Kenyan subscribers. Now VISA payments are going through, we aren't restricted to using Safaricom (MPESA) strictly. However, after update, the new platform is pathetic. You can't double play or triple play a song on a playlist as before. Now you can only remove (-) a song. No option to add (+) the same song in a playlist. Kindly correct that. Your software developer tried fixing something that wasn't broken ending up messing it up!!

I’m deeply frustrated with Boomplay. This app is, without a doubt, the worst app I have ever used. The sheer number of intrusive ads that pop up out of nowhere is beyond aggravating. They nag incessantly and are so persistent that the app and phone becomes unusable. I’ve had to restart my phone multiple times just to regain control of my device. The experience is infuriating and renders the app completely worthless. Avoid Boomplay at all costs if you value your sanity.

I loved the app before but now boomplay has become very annoying, ads just popping out of everywhere and when you want to listen or download a new song, you have to watch a non meaningful ad that last for 30seconds. Also, your updates are very unnecessary and annoying, I just updated mine and now the order of my music is scattered, it not more from newest to old, it's now from recently download, to phone files starting from Z to A then previously download. You guys can do better.

So I've seen that there's a massive bug in this version, it will play the song for about less than 3 mins before stopping, and the other latest reviews in this device also seems to be so. Please fix it, even if it's downloaded, filtered to downloads or not downloaded songs won't play for more than 3 mins in the background.

This was my best music playing app. But I discovered one issue, listening who download songs on the boomplay app should be able to sync and upload it to their Google drive. For easy access when we get a new device. I just got a new device and all the songs I downloaded on the old one is gone and no was to recover it
