Reinstalled the app and am so happy it works better aside from taking me to fake Amazon pages. I fixed the screen not showing up all I had to do is uninstall and then reinstall again. A lot of bugs were fixed though and many people may not like it but I prefer the one ad when you first start up the app compared to an ad everytime you go back to the app.

I used to work perfectly , but crashes all the time on pixel 8 : " something when wrong , refresh and try again " , after 10_15 sec of play. Also the button on the top are not accessible anymore, hence cannot see menu or ghost mode or anything else... Can it be fixed ? Thanks

I used this app for 12+ hours a day for the last 2 months - during my hour commute to/from my job where I use it for my 10 hour shifts. Having a music player with minimal ads locked in my pocket was a game-changer. This morning I can't use it if my phone screen is locked, and overheats my phone to discomfort when the screen is unlocked. I tried uninstalling, clearing the cache, restarting my phone... Everything I can think of. So disappointed it no longer is usable.

Very convenient and customizable in how you want to view/hear videos (plus has a dark theme!). Sometimes the drag-down menu doesn't respond as it should, but it's such a small inconvenience that the app itself more than makes up for it. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a way to multitask with either videos or music.

I've been using this app for roughly two years now, and it is absolutely fantastic. You get to play vids while the screen is locked, popout a window to show above other apps, its excellent. Not perfect, it has a few minor bugs, but the dev is very good at fixing them within a short amount of time, and even then...it's minor bugs. Genuinely fantastic, I use this app daily.

Was a great app that got ruined. Very buggy now, likes to crash and take forever to do simple things. That would be forgiveable if not for the overwhelmingly intrusive ads. Every single time you open the app it plays an add that has a 2-second skip window you have to watch for or else watch the whole thing. And sometimes the ad will randomly flip sideways to try to get you to click on it when you're trying to x out.

Edit: Done with this app. Too buggy. YT app easier to use. The only positive that Minimizer has is Ghost, but it's not worth the hassle. I paid, too. Edit: Any way to save video speed? It resets every time when going back to home or a new channel. Doesn't save time stamp on videos consistently when exiting or going home etc. Ghost position resets to lower right after closing the app instance. Sometimes the bottom toolbar doesn't load correctly and there's only 3 icons, requiring an app restart.

It's free, it's great! Avoid ads by watching one (stupid and horribly outdated) ad when you start it up (that you can skip), then you can watch whatever you want ad free. The minimizer works too. Just put it in the background, turn off the screen and it continues to play, all ad free. I thought maybe it was malware at first, but I've never had any data stolen and my accounts they're all good. Only trouble is that it's slow to respond after using for an hour or so. Don't pay for YT Red w/this.
