The Lucid Hearing app brings simple and powerful control to your Powered by Lucid hearing aids. You can customize the sound the way you want, including- LucidShape to personalize your hearing experience - live and in real time

The Lucid Hearing app also brings quick visual indicators for your hearing aid battery level, and works with Powered by Lucid hearing aids using both disposable zinc air and rechargeable lithium ion batteries.
The Lucid Hearing app is compatible with all A-series Powered by Lucid hearing aid models as well as Engage and Present hearing aids.

I don't understand why location permission is required on this app unless the developer is selling location information. If you are on an airplane and launch the app it force closes automatically since it cannot determine the location. I emailed the developer explaining that I travel a lot for my job and cannot make any adjustments while flying and haven't received not even a courtesy email stating that they received it. Next step will be calling Lucid.

As others have noted, this app has issues. I just updated the app and will try and flash the firmware ... again ... The basic problem is that we're a captive audience. In the rare instances that the app works, it has merit, but, ultimately, where else do we go to control even the hearing aid volume?

This app is useless. Has a bug in the create account page two. Constant hiss sound, accompanied with an unnecessary off and on click when scanning in social apps and inconsistent dual hearing aid engagement with the phone 12 inches directly in front of your nose. Still useless 10/18/2024. App unable to navigate having 2 aids.

Worst app I have on my phone. Hearing aids are disconnected at random(still paired to phone). Program shuts down or resets randomly. Also will occasionally send a painful white noise feedback back through my hearing aids( happening as I type). If I could give less than one star, I would

Latest update worthless. Will not come off Android Streaming even when BT is turned off. Volume goes up and down whenever I open the app. Will not hold settings. Fortunately I'm in my return period.

Kludgy is the most appropriate word to describe this app. No streaming, no calls, programs randomly appear and disappear, user documentation is extremely sparse. FYI, I am an IT professional with over 40 years of diverse experience. If someone like myself cannot make this work, there is no way the average hearing aid customer would be able to make it work.

Unstable, unreliable, nowhere near ready to stream anything. I gave this app and my hearing aids 3 days to see if I could figure out the bugs because I'd really love to stream. It just doesn't work. At best it will give you okay audio but the hearing aid won't be synced. Most of the time the audio come through distorted, not at all or one ear normal the other mickey mouse. Crazy they did an update, sent emails to everyone telling them about it and still have unstable/horrible streaming.

Even now with your new updated App: The Bluetooth connection is still terrible, when I turn my head I lose connection to my hearing aids. It's useless to try to use Bluetooth to make and answer phone calls. Not happy!!!! App won't stay connected to Hearing aids. Sometimes there is one HA, sometimes both, and sometimes none of them show up and I have to pair the HA,s to my phone all over again. Very painful. I've only had these for four days, love the hearing aids but the app is terrible.
