App randomly reopens itself on top of other apps constantly. Video ads suddenly play with sound, which I can't mute until they are already playing. Only the beginning of the translation text shows with ... so I cannot see more than a few words at once. The only way to get the rest is to tap the speaker icon which reads it aloud, which is useless in an environment where I have to be quiet or is too noisy to hear. (Using for Japanese to English.) Can't tap anywhere in the box for text input.

This software can't work like Google and it doesn't always give the right answer. When I go to translate a large text, this software makes a lot of mistakes and when I go to the image option and want to change the text.Then it is most of the time wrong. Hope whoever made this software will fix the problems very soon.

I've been using this for a few years and it has been very helpful. It provides multiple possible translations for a given phrase with the most likely being on top. Speech to text function works, but uses Google for speech recognition and can be difficult to use if the person speaking pauses during speech. You can take pictures of signs and it will find the text and translate it for you. My only complaint is that there is no buying option for the app and instead relies on a reasonable subscriptn.

Just downloaded Spanish to use offline, but no option to turn off app's connection to network. Apparently I need to turn off phone's network connection. Not ideal. Also the text recognition with camera is not very useful, you dont get an instant translation on camera, you need to go through a few steps to get only translated text. No way to keep data from being saved on company servers. I would pay a premium for such improved privacy options and will keep searching for an app that does.

This is an excellent offline language translator ! It works even when the internet connection is off. Yeah, there are few ads when used online, but not so much. Many languages right there the user can download and use. There are no issues in this app. But offcourse updates for reaching the exact meaning regarding to the different structure of sentences have to be slightly more enhanced. I can't give less that 5 stars, and even Google translate sometimes can't display the exact meaning.

Just downloaded it. Seems to work great offline after downloading the language to use offline. I could only compare it in my second language Afrikaans. It translates it pretty spot on even being offline. The voice translation in my language can only be done while online and although the accent is terable I can make out what is being said. So that is a win in my books. Looking forward using this app while abroad.

Offline my foot! I'm sitting in an airport, trying to log into the WiFi, but I don't understand the sign-in page. I had already downloaded the appropriate language for this very situation. But it wouldn't translate the word I needed I order to comprehend the directions; it wouldn't translate at all. Luckily I guessed right, and connected on my own. Only then did the app correctly identify the word for "mail" (so nothing difficult or obscure).

Full screen advertisements and no way to permanently remove ads (only subscription). No dark mode / dark theme, not even with battery saver. Offline translation does work however, as long as you download the language model. Although, the offline translations are not quite as good as they are through the internet, as in they are more similar to a word for word translation.
