Info:

Not all android devices have a built-in magnetometer, so please be advised that it may not work with your device.
Icon and text will indicate if device is compatible once application starts.
Accuracy is dependent on manufacturer.
A magnetic field sensor (also known as magnetometer) reports the ambient magnetic field, as measured along the three sensor axes.
The measurement is reported in the x, y, and z fields and all values are in micro-Tesla (uT).

Settings:

For audible alarm and vibration on high field detection click on respective buttons to toggle.
Change alarm sensitivity by clicking on reading and swipe seek bar to set.

Calibration:

If output readings fail it attempt to calibrate by gently shaking the device or waving the device in a figure 8 pattern.

Permissions:

I found it a great tool to detect magnetic fields. Very fast response. I found it also seems to detect space weather. Avg reading is 50ut but read 120 for two dayys during the widely publicized solar storm. And recently in our outdoor rural setting it rose to 620 and our power flickered and went out. The reading stayed high for 20 minutes before suddenly dropping back to normal. Amazing!! Power outage lasted about an hour.

Is as advertised. You would think in a world of malware and data scams anything free may as well be a deal with the devil. This is not true here. I appreciate this developer for an extremely transparent and quality application. I tested the application on multiple known good EMF/MF of varying streingth with solid results. Al axis work perfectly, and I enjoy that the application shows you what sensors you have at your disposal and that it does not require any network connection. You rock!!!!

I almost blew my eardrums with this app. Cool app that looks like it works, but they need to fix a bug within the app. I was listening to music (normal volume) when I opened the app. I clicked the audible alarm toggle to let me know when it's above a certain amount and as soon as I touched the toggle buttom BOOOOM, my music is blasting at full volume. I quickly pushed the toggle button off and my music volume went back to normal. The developers definitely need to fix that.

worked extremely well and was very sensitive on my A71. I used it to look for slight magnetic fields from mineral samples to identify magnetite in them. I also used a NIB magnet with a known field strength to verify the amount of flux coming from my samples versus background and baseline. ALSO, its a free app with no ads, these developers deserve a round of applause, thank you !!

Seems to work well, but I must be dumb. I can only guess what it's doing. Maybe it's right. Maybe not, I have no clue. Operation is straightforward and almost nothing to do- that I am aware of. I've not found any documentation or information on how it's working or even really what it is supposed to be doing? Is it measuring the earth's and/or Sun's magnetosphere or the relative strength of a magnet or magnetic properties of something? With alarm set at 90 and it goes into alarm mode, then what?

Great lil app to go with a flagship device with the right sensors in it. It could use a north south feature to show the orientation of the magnet you are testing. Useful tool if you need this. Phis is free without any ads and that's a plus plus ya know. Thanks for that.

I've installed plenty of weird little tools, this is one of the better ones I've found in a while, effective, simple, clean, has the right amount of options, does as advertised, and includes no advertising

Amazing app. I use it to check if my watches got magnetized. Simple, but works really well. Doesn't even have ads. Thank you for providing it! I've started walking through my house with it and measuring the magnetic flux of various objects. It's really fun and interesting actually.
