Video Coach is a simple yet powerful real-time video analysis tool.
Video coach helps you analyse and improve your sporting activities or the performance of your students or athletes if you are physical education teacher or coach.
Video coach records videos and displays them continuously with a time delay for a quick and handsfree visual feedback.
You can record your performance and watch it a few seconds later directly on your device without touching a button.
Video stream is kept in RAM and not saved in the file storage by default so it will not clutter your internal storage or SD card.
At any time, you can save the video in the internal storage or SD card.
This application is a free evaluation version.
At the end of the 10 days evaluation period, you can buy a a perpetual license directly from the application (in app payment).

Features :
1, 2, 3 or 4 delayed views (device dependent)
Programmable delay in seconds.
Maximum delay depends only on the amount of RAM your device allocates to each application.
Example : maximum delay is 10 minutes on Nexus 4
Delay can be set without interrupting the live video stream.
Pause/unpause for delayed views
HD record and playback (device dependent)
Fast and easy switch between record and playback modes
Playback mode to replay the video stream in loop.
Up to 4 delayed views can be played back in parallel (device dependent).
Freeze frame and slow motion in playback mode.
Rewind and fast forward in playback mode.
Autofocus
Zoom-in and pan independently each delayed view to analyse more precisely a sequence of the performance (paid option).
Drawing tools (lines, ovals, free drawing, 3 colors) to highlight special areas on the delayed views (paid option).

Video quality setting (normal and high)
Supports front and back cameras. Use front camera for a delay mirror effect.
Supports GoPro cameras (Hero2 with Wifi BacPac, Hero3, Hero3+) in wifi streaming mode (paid option). Frame rate is limited to approx 22.5 fps and resolution is fixed to 432x240 due to a limitation of the 'live preview' mode of the GoPro cameras.

FIX FOUND.... After install on first run select "THIS TIME ONLY" for camera permission. It will act up after program is closed if you do not do this. If they ever fix this issue I will upgrade to 5 stars again BECAUSE this is the best type of program available. Used to be great, has not worked or been update for years. If it does not ask each time after the above, go into settings, search for "apps", and select permisions and do not allow, then it should ask each time.

2-18-2020 new android update has rindered the app useless. It will not function. Please fix app. The app is awesome outside of this issue. I have used it for 3-4 months straight. My 1 and only complaint is battery drainage. I will start with 100% battery and after my 2 hour practice be below 50%. Other than that i love this app. Please fix the update issue.

Had it for a number of years worked great with my old tablet. Got a new tablet worked well on the trial. Once paid for the trial, app will never load and all crashes. Have to uninstall and reinstall to get it to open every time I want to use. Have emailed the developer multiple times and still have not received a response. It's great app but need this big fixed.

Awesome app for archery training. I can zoom in on two different parts of my shot on separate parts of the screen and watch both after each shot -- using different delays. Also being able to record afterwards is great, if I make a good or bad shot I can record it afterwards for analysis. If I could use the built in camera on my phone on one half of the screen - and a feed from an external camera on the other - it would be perfect! Update - doesn't work on galaxy S10+, crashes upon opening.

When it works it does something I have not seen other apps able to do. The interface is not responsive, there are bugs, for example in settings there is a way you can mess the video saving folder preference without being able to fix it. If you just want to watch your performance on mirror with 5-10 second delays and that's that then it's perfect. try to change stuff and then it might have to be reinstalled. needs work, i'd pay for a fully working one £5 is not much but i am reluctand at the moment. Maybe it tries to do too much, maybe the author made it for personal use and happy the way it is...

Right after download it wanted be to buy a license. Then somehow when I got the free trial to work, it was pretty good so I figured I'd buy it... Until I realized you have to pay for EVERY damn feature. Want zoom? Extra. Want to draw? That's extra too. I HATE when developers do this. Guess I'll be buying a competing app (Video Delay) that gives you all features for ONE reasonable price.

Updating my review since previous android updates broke the app and I found a workaround. As of 8 June 2021, it works again on my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 (Android 10, One UI 2.5, Exynos international dual-sim). It works only on the first run. You have to clear app data (cache alone is not sufficient) each time the app is closed to trick the app so it does not crash on start. That means having to reconfigure settings again but this means you can draw lines/zoom which other similar apps do not offer

Very good video delay app. Why only 2 stars? It is abandonware built for old Android os. Half of paid options do not work and app itself can freeze at startup but latest developer activity on his social networks is Sep 2015. If you feel lucky, go ahead, but do not buy Cam HD option or GoPro. Be prepared that it will not even run on your device. WiFi cam HD cant access your device wifi so it is useless. No chance for fix.
