Notepad is a small and fast notetaking app for making notes, memos, or just any plain text content. Features:
* simple interface that most of the users find easy to use
* no limits on note's length or number of notes (of course there's a limit to phone's storage)

It may be obvious, but notes in the app can be used in many ways. For example as a to do list to increase productivity. A sort of digital planner to store shopping list or to organize the day. Notes can be put on the home screen as reminders. Each task could be stored in a seperate note or one big todo note could be used.

** Important **
Please remember to make a backup copy of notes before formatting a phone or buying a new phone. Since the 1.7.0 version the app will also use phone's device copy, if it's turned on in the device's and the app's settings.

* Why do I advise to not install the app on an SD card?
I follow the official advice to block installing on an SD card apps that use widgets. This app uses widgets, which are like icons for the notes, and can be placed on a phone's home screen (for example).

Easy and simple to use, automatically saves once you back out of the app. Though to access your notes directly with a pc, you'll need to export your notes as an actual text file to wherever you prefer. No problem there. What i love especially is the feature to disable banner ads (temporarily) by watching a 15 or 30 second video and won't have to deal with them for 864,000 seconds each time.

I'm impressed! Easy to use; and all the editing functions are included. Very intuitive ... Superior to any of the others I've used. One quick suggestion … In settings / sort, add the option to sort by category. That's the only thing I can imagine that would make the app more perfect than it already is 🩵.

Works great for a notepad. Make sure you backup your files using the "Backup" feature in the menu. Then email that file to yourself for safe keeping. I lost a phone and all my notes were gone because it wasn't setup to have Google doing backups. The tech support for this company showed me how to avoid this issue down the road. I recommend this notepad app out of the others ive tried, mostly because the ad display is barely even noticeable and the app itself is easy to navigate with a cell phone.

I have used this app for several months but just realized I needed to speak the words of a song rather fast into the notepad, as I was listening to it be sung so I could sing it later... well i searched & searched and there's no place to speak the words into the notepad like I can on a text to someone. That would be a 5 star for sure!!

This is the 4th phone I've installed the app on. I use it all the time. It's quick, easy and convenient. It even has an option to change text color. I love the search option. It makes finding one in a million notes very easy. You can even search within a note. I highly recommend this app! Thank you ☺️

Works perfect for me - a wonderful application. I have used this app for 6 to 8 years. It is very helpful to me. I do my budgeting and keep running items that I pay out of my two bank accounts. Helps me immensely to plan my money . I would be lost without this app. I keep various other items separate on sheets, such as a list of my doctors, and people in my building. I also keep a running list of my shopping such as at Walmart monthly. This app is very handy to me.

I cannot begin to state how valuable this app is for me. It allows me to conduct business, and exercise my phonetic skills to doctrine levels of mastery. I am truly, TRULY appreciative of everything. ☺️🙏🏾🫡. The one and only issue, I have with this app, is there's no auto backup option. You have to remember to manually do it, otherwise you lose all of your information and documents. I am using the free version, but when I am finally rewarded for my troubles, I will not hesitate to pay.

It's a dependable writing app with very useful features like the ability to underline, boldface, italicize, highlight, change color and more to text, from single words (even single letters) to the entire file. Just as impressive is their customer service. When I complained the app didn't do something in my initial review, they responded directly to me within a few minutes, to explain how to do exactly what I wanted. Thank you, guys!
