I don't know if it's something I did wrong, but my phone's storage has been awful, and cleaning hasn't done much, so I decided to optimize photos. It told me it would save me a TON of storage, so I decided to try it out. Before doing this, I had deleted a few large apps, so the "storage space running out" notification wasn't there. After optimizing photos (multiple times, different settings), I had much less space than before. The notification is back, I tried cleaning, and nothing is working.

I've used AVG since it's very early days in the business. Although I very satisfied with the performance, I had found that it has become much more sales-oriented, especially within the masr 2 or 3 years . There's also co.fusion about what's on the subscription and what not. A number of times I've been asked either to renew or add programs I already have. so, overall I must h prefer over other produ to, I'd just advise to pay close attention to subscription detail and to account management.

I've always found AVG cleaner great to keep my older phone in shape and it ran and updated fine. Until I accidently uninstalled it, now it is saying it is not compatible with my device. Although continues to run perfectly well on an identical business phone. Shame. I thought that was the whole point of the software.

I want to give it zero star. Such an arrogant app. I lost my pics . Don't Install it when you are facing a storage issue . It never shows what it delete but after it's done cleaning. It almost empty all my gallery just few photos are left. After reading your reply on my review I think it's necessary to give you answer even if I click unnecessary file you can't have a right to delete unless you know which files is unnecessary for me you can't give me a chance to decide to choose unneeded file.

It's an excellent tool for cleaning the phone and you don't have to even pay for premium features to use premium features... If you don't mind watching an ad... I have a VERY BIG problem though, I found out when I unlocked the phone that it said payment unsuccessful... And when I open the apps I had in the background this was one of the apps... People are being forced to pay for this and it's unacceptable, moving on...

Seems to be ok. However, there are ads for game apps that are trying to force me to go to the app in Google Play Store. This means that I can't exit out of the ad at any point to go back to AVG. My only option is to close the AVG app and reopen it, then wait for another ad to complete. I have an Android, but I don't think that should make any difference.

First time using them for mobile. I like the deep and quick cleans. I wish there weren't so many cash grabs. I'm glad I'm able to watch a couple of short ads to remove junk and unneeded items that sucks the soul out of my phone, lol. Not amazing for free, but 4/5 stars for functionality. (◍⁠•⁠ᴗ⁠•⁠◍⁠)

Weird but it does not always cleaning "hidden caches", I have to manually clean them. Sometimes seem to work, though. I read a review where somebody suggested to run the cleaning process TWICE to overcome this issue, can you please advise? Note that I purchased a subscription, not using the free version.
