Honestly, this app has taken all the guesswork out of flying in regulated airspace. The LAANC approvals come through almost instantly, and I’m never worried about no-fly zones anymore. I can set up my flight plans at home and pull them up on my phone while out in the field. The sync between devices is seamless. If you fly drones for work, this app is essential.

Not useful as B4UFLY replacement. Edit: It shows a map. The local airport shows 0 details that Google does not. I click on it, and it says "airport." There's a yellow pin out in the country that says "NOTAM" after clicking on it 3 times. (There's no real NOTAM there.) At an airport with LAANC, it shows a grid, but it's unresponsive. So, this app is a nice road map, but not useful beyond that.

The app has been very useful. The only down side is I have not been able to enter my part 107 information into my profile. The app will not save the information. Otherwise the app have been great and I use it frequently. On 7/18/24 I used the app while in Colorado. The app would not show any restrictions or warnings for the national forrest.

Downloaded and paid for the service while searching for a missing person on 4-7-24. App was too unstable so I emailed Avision to cancel subscription. On 5-7, I was billed again. I spoke to someone there and again requested to cancel subscription. They said they would. I was just billed again on 6-7. Do not download/buy subscription!!

Avision has simplified my flight operations more than I expected. The airspace data is accurate, and I get my LAANC approvals in no time. No more worrying about accidentally flying into no-fly zones. Plus, the web-to-mobile sync for flight plans is incredibly convenient. This app is a must for anyone serious about drone flying.

It’s made my commercial drone flights so much safer and easier. The LAANC integration and airspace updates give me confidence that I’m always flying legally.

This app cannot be used without enabling my location. There is no reason to need location when someone is exploring the map. Edit after seeing Avision's response: My reason still stands. A user should be able to type in a city or zip code to see that area's weather and derails, yet it wants my location. If someone is laying on the couch and looking at the map to travel somewhere the next day to go flying, then their couch location is not helpful.

I'm not paying $10 / month to file my LAANC's for commercial flights when it's a gov't provided system. Absolutely crazy, get away.
