It didn't really work on my Pixel XL. It just censored about 10 pictures. But about 150 were just ignored. It might have something to do that I use Google Photos? Also, the more thorough scan WASN'T INITIATED AT ALL. I had my device already plugged into a charger. But it didn't begin the more advanced scanning while charging...

Till now the app has been working just fine. No hiccups. No unexpected shutdown. Any bugs encountered in future will be updated here. Edit1: This app can access all the corners and gets all those hidden thumbnails that are left back after the actual file gets deleted. Feature request-> show the metadata of the files that are being scanned and also the ones that gets selected for user review. We would like to know these hidden locations.

Not sure if it actually detects anything NSFW because so far it hasn't found anything - I was mostly curious as to how many false positives it would flag - but I DID find that some pictures slow it to a CRAWL. I have some photos I took of caves on a trip I took ages ago and it is taking several hours scanning these. I left it running overnight and it managed to analyze four of them. So beware, pictures that don't have people in them but have skin-like tones might throw the app into a tailspin it can't recover from.

I am very dissatisfied with the Cover app. As soon as I started the app, it automatically began to scan my files without my permission. After the scan finished, my files did not appear in the Cover gallery for me to view, and there is no option to recover my files. Now, I no longer have access to my files, and when I contacted support they requested that I send them my files so they can try to recover them. This is unacceptable!! Apparently, this app is not ready for distribution.

Failed to find images in many locations - only found them in generic camera and media files. Failed to "cover" album master thumbnail images, even though designated as "covered" files. "Uncover all" feature did restore all images to prior locations, but failed to remove "covered" designation on some in album thumbnails. Even after restoring all images to prior locations and uninstalling the app, some thumbnails still marked with "covered" label and fogged out. A dangerously defective app IMHO.

Added watermarks and covered images when I specifically turned if off in setting. Over wrote a ton of my high quality stuff. Uncover all function doesn't work, and I can't recover by manually selecting uncover. Don't use if you don't have a backup of your content

I am not getting any response from your emd. Its been 15 days and no response from your end. You are simply sending emails. But that of no use. Whatever you asked I have provided all to you. But still I am not getting any positive feedback. I am still waiting for your response. I have sent several mails but there is no response from your end. Just look in to it and let me know that from where I can see my all lost videos. As after securing in vault. When I am restoring it. It's gone.

Does what it says but needs more flexibility in choosing files. You need a file explorer addition to be able to add files from anywhere on the phone not just predefined locations. Or at least let us choose locations. Add that and I'll purchase.
