I have been away, and come back! 3 years down the line, the app and service is still absolute shite! What's worse is the fact they still had all my personal data on account. My email, my phone number, and all the devices I had previously registered. Not a GDPR wizz or anything, but I'm pretty sure that is breaking some laws!

Likewise is terrible, the old system was far better. Phone broken, new phone brought out and directly exchanged. Now the system is that you loose your phone for upto 2 weeks while they repair it.

The app is not working. And judging by the comments it is a common issue, that haven't been resolved in a very long time. I tried 3 different devices. Still can't go past logging, then the app crashes. Shame on you Barclays. I've just dropped my phone and the screen is dead. I need a replacement ASAP. That's why I'm paying almost £15 for a service i can't use. Very disappointing. I need the phone for work! Sort it out pleaseeeeeeew.

I can't log in via the app so it is effectively useless. The only ways to contact Barclays about a claim for gadget insurance where you've lost or damaged the device and can't use the screen is now via the phone (currently over a 1 hour wait time) or via this app. Which you can't log into. So now the travel insurance is useless too. Brilliant work by both Barclays and Brightstar. Not.

The registration process for this product is an absolute travesty. Encountering options like "colour zero" without the ability to select them is not just frustrating; it's nonsensical. Attempting a manual search leads nowhere, reinforcing the impression that the phone is a phantom. This experience has been not only utterly disappointing but also a monumental waste of time and energy. It's bewildering how such a flawed system could be released. Avoid at all costs if you value your sanity.

App never managed to load on my phone. Tried tens of times with no success. Tried calling them but waiting times are in excess of 1 hr. Waiting for more than one month for my phone replacement, all this after paying for this insurance for years and being charged £100 excess for a damaged charging port on a samsung s10+. It just doesn't make sense to keep paying for this bs

Wish I could have rated 0 star, extremely disappointed with the new company taken over barclays tech pack mobile insurance. I've had a broken screen on my phone. Trying to get in touch on the phone no but never could get connected. Been on hold for over an hour. Tried via the app and the app won't go past the login scree. The previous company providing the same service was far much better. I m cancelling my tech pack insurance and will get it from some where else. Absolutely joke.

Can't log in. It's useless just like Brightstar / Likewise. Claimed under Barclays' Tech Pack. Told I'd have to send device for repair. Status on website stuck at "fulfillment pending" even though they had received my device. Impossible to get through on phone or chat. Eventually found an email address and complained. They basically lost my device and a week later told me they'd reimburse me. Took 10 days to come through due to "system error". Had to chase them for over 3 weeks. Should be 0 *s
