This app is well made. Sound quality is good and works flawlessly. The lessons on theory are easy to follow. My only complaint is the learning curve is too steep for people with little to no previous ear training. Even in easy mode it expects people to hear the difference between a minor third and a major third interval very early in the lessons and that is something that has taken me three months to do with the help of another app. The lessons should first focus on notes that whole steps apart

Great source to train your ear, but order of courses can be frustrating. The first chapters are still hard for me, since you have only two notes and the intervals sound similar. In later chapters you get easier intervals like the minor second and the seventh intervals which are distinct. Also a major and minor chord are way easier to differentiate(they come later) for me then the minor and major third(with this you start). So don't let the start discourage you if you struggle like me.

Very good training app. I purchased full version already. The scoring and progression system is a bit unfriendly for beginners. I don't want to unlock all levels in settings (I know about this feature). I still want to collect stars and unlock levels as I progress... But even though I get 31 correct answers out of 32 questions - it's still 2 stars... And I need 3 to "pass". It would be nice to remove timer completely and keep score for amount of correct answers only.

I really enjoy (and purchased ) the rhythm and music reader app from the same publisher, but I found the ear trainer completely unapproachable. I understand that it is supposed to be difficult, but I was expecting slower ramp up in difficulty. instead in easy mode the 3rd exercise is recognising m3 vs M3 with random root note. I am just not able to do that and the app does not provide a way to get there slowly/improve.

absolutely wonderful app, although maybe a nice addition would be how to identify the intervals or chords (what songs to memories for each of them) and use be able to use sheet music instead of the wheel. Otherwise it's helping me so much and with this I'll hopefully be able to get into music school

Nice app but so frustrating I'm stuck on"easy level" 3.5 despite putting hours in. Thanks for your feedback, but I didn't come here to make stuff up. This is my experience.

Its not very efficient for beginner. Sad Fact, i stuck on chapter 1 easy mode for almost 2 years. I only persevere because i paid the app. It still feel waste of money though. Only when i start to learn Solfege song this month, i managed to get 3 star and continue to chapter 2. Suggestion: Having Solfege training in the app would be very helpful.

This app is brilliant! I play it on average 1 hour a day this is because I'm training to play by ear so consistency is everything. When I first started I couldn't tell the difference between P4 and P5 but one month later I am getting 5 stars. This app is underrated its the best one out there if your learning to play by ear. I've already seen progress in my playing
