Black Border is a border cop simulator game 🛂 that simulates the life of a real border patrol officer 👮. In this game, you assume the role of a police officer of the border present at the entry and exit gates of the country you work and live in. You the player is supposed to check the passengers' papers and stop the smuggling of illegal items and bribery.As a border officer 👮, you must check entrants' papers and use all of your devices and tools to arrest people like terrorists, wanted criminals, smugglers, and passengers with forged or stolen documents.

I recently replayed the entirety of Papers Please so this game definitely caught my eye when I read about it in a article about similar games! The art is beautiful and well-done and many aspects of the game remind me of Papers Please! There are many typos and the animations can be awkward, especially the speech animations which block the height chart. However I still find myself enjoying the game - looking forward to the next update!

Never played a game like this and I was excited to try it out. The translation to English is not the greatest and makes parts challenging. Also ruins immersion. The other BIG negative is that on casual mode it's to hard. Granted, I am disabled and can't go super fast like the timer wants. I figured that a casual mode would be a bit more relaxed and it wasn't. The controls are clunky as well. Want to like it but just can't.

The dialogue is horrible. Not only is it badly translated in english, but it also makes no sense sometimes. Other than that, it's basically a somewhat decent copy of "Papers, Please". I would've kept playing it tbh, if only the dialogue was better. In this state it looks like it was written by a 14 yo kid.

This is a good simulator game. I didn't understand what the money sheet was for at the end of each day. If you want to see what it is like to be a border custom agent, reading passports then this is the game for you. I enjoyed playing at first but eventually it started to be repetitive. I am interested in trying Black Border 2.

The game is great, but I often have problems giving back their documents after I press the red or green button. So, I have to wait a couple seconds more and click the button again and again for this to work. Is it because I was too fast checking?

We have papers, please at home: easier edition. Personally I like this. There are some awful bugs that make it unplayable however. Maybe some time could've been set aside for making my deny/approve stamps work instead of skins for my stupid office. If the fundamental core mechanics of the game don't work, don't waste time of extras. You won't have a fan base to sell to if your game is literally unplayable. Day 6 on Cold War is where I'm having the issue.

the game is very entertaining, however it has a few issues. the feedback option does not work, so putting it here instead. the game comes across as highly transphobic even if that wasn't the intention, especially when it comes to the way gender discrepancy questions are worded, and the fact that they must always be declined. this really is not ok as a trans person reminds me of the worst of my struggles in the legal system, which makes me feel much less like playing it.

It's fine, a blatant rip off of Papers, Please, but one of the finer points they missed is that in Papers, Please you don't have to fingerprint anyone until it becomes a rule that denial reason is given. It's those kind of attention to bureacratic details that will have this just wanting you to play its superior version.
