With the eBike Connect app, you can customise your eBike experience: connected, individual and interactive. Connect your Nyon or Kiox via Bluetooth with your smartphone and flexibly plan your routes, use the navigation via your display, track your activities or protect your eBike from theft with the premium function eBike Lock. The eBike Connect app offers you many helpful functions for your eBike with the Bosch eBike system 2.Please note: This app can only be used for eBikes with Bosch drive units and Nyon or Kiox on-board computers with Bosch eBike system 2.
Route planning and navigation
Use the flexible route planning and navigation of eBike Connect. You can conveniently plan your rides and customise, import or share routes. If you synchronise with Komoot and Outdooractive, you can discover even more exciting routes. In addition, eBike Connect app suggests you routes that fit with your preferences and mood (fast, scenic or eMountainbike). If you start your planned route in the app, it will be transmitted to your display or on-board computer.
Activities and fitness
From distance and duration to calories burned: view and evaluate all details of your eBike rides.

Premium functions for more security and personalisation
- With eBike Lock, you can park your eBike in a more relaxed way: The premium function offers additional protection against thieves. As soon as you disconnect the on-board computer, the eBike's drive unit no longer provides support, deterring thieves.
- With the premium function "Individual riding modes", you can personalize your Bosch eBike and set the drive unit’s support individually.
- Based on topographical conditions and the selected support level, the eBike Connect app calculates your remaining range.
Announcement:
With immediate effect, it is no longer possible for eBike Connect users to purchase premium features (Premium feature Lock, Topo range indicator, Custom riding modes) as an in-app purchase. If you have already purchased the premium features, nothing will change. You can use them as usual and the Terms and Conditions apply.
Please note: The premium function eBike Lock in conjunction with the Kiox or Nyon display is compatible with the following Bosch drive units from the Bosch eBike system 2: Bosch Active Line, Active Line Plus from model year 2018 onward, Performance Line, Performance Line Speed and Performance Line CX as well as the Cargo Line from model year 2020 on compatible.

What's New
The new statistics overview now shows you the number of trips you have made, the total distance travelled, the total duration of all your trips and the elevation covered for the current month. Differences to the previous month are now visualised with arrows. The maps were updated (version: October 2024). In addition, the purchase of premium features as an in-app purchase is no longer possible. Existing purchases remain unchanged.

Solid app. Lacks off switch as you have to stop Bluetooth entirely to make it stop searching for the Kiox device. Quite good data set and transfer to Strava, yet only for single rides. The safety feature definitely should be a free gift, not sure why they still charge those 10 bucks after you paid for an entire e-bike, while it is far away from offering a complete bike lock.

- synchronization of rides ridiculously unreliable. won't sync for weeks sometimes. - purchase of lock function finally worked after third attempt. - updating the KIOX was a nightmare. no documentation. after rebooting the phone (!), it finally showed up. guys, really, how long did you invest in this feature? 2 minutes? if it was more, you are clearly incompetent.

With current Android (14) on a Pixel phone, Bluetooth connectivity is very unreliable, only syncs about once a week. Looking forward to a fix. --- Update: After a lot of trying, it seems like the background service that syncs had been disabled (in scope of an Android patch/upgrade?) to run continuously. I can image there are more customers having the same frustrating issue. Maybe this is helpful for them, as the hint in the app to just toggle Bluetooth is not going to be helpful here.

Very hit or miss. When it works it works well, otherwise it's sub good. What is good is that it starts automatically when you start and it links with apps like Strava... However because the syncing often doesn't work the maps get lost and you lose everything on these linked apps making the whole data pretty much useless.

Generally good when it connects. For some reason the app repeatedly disconnects when I turn on my kiok 300, so I have to completely restart my phone for it to connect properly - An Update fixed this problem. 👍🏻 I like the app in general, although sadly the altitude logged is way off. I'm not convinced by the navigation, it's too close in one mode and too zoomed out in the other, it would be nice to have it in between, a little too basic to be functional.

It just works, but could be improved. I'd like to see routes being easy adjustable by simply dragging them without adding waypoints, and for GPX routes to be editable. The main interface is a little confusing to use at times, so some UX improvements wouldn't go amiss.

Works ok, but I could not get maps to show in kiox even after providing all the permissions, downloading the map data to phone, and unrestricted in phone battery settings. The kiox just shows an arrow. There is no mapping data on the kiox itself.

It's ok but could be easier to use. I find it very difficult to upload a trip when I get home via Bluetooth but works ok if I have the app open on my phone during the ride. Its not very intuitive - I find it hard to work out where my latest trip is to be found. The info is fine once you find it - the route, graphs and tables all clear and well set out.
