bosch beconnected app was very helpful for us tool lovers to verify the authenticity of the tool and for warranty registration.

QR scanner doesn't work , app fails to do its sole purpose of warranty registration. it's of no use , have to call customer care to register warrsnty

Logging in is not easy. Sometimes it fails and no OTP received. Had to repeat a few times. Could not update my personal data. Could not confirm email, so its only 84% Complete. I have 2 accounts and both have problems of the same nature. Could not Scan tools for Registration, neither Manually entry. I had to get the Bosch salesman to assist to register at their Bosch Office but the email confirmation in my Profile remains unresolved and I can't change to another email account. Address initially entered correctly was not correctly recorded. But I could make corrections in the Profile. So this is resolved for this. Still outstanding is my email confirmation which I could not receive the OTP. Please advise and help. Right now its worth 3 stars till all resolved and I may review and revise revise up to 4 or 5 stars when 100% registration is completed. Otherwise it looks like a good App. I own at least 20 Bosch Tools and Accessories and do look forward to be able to use this App to update all my tools record.

no OTP sent, will update review when I finally get to login 🙂 UPDATE: was able to signup and login from top right menu, OTP was sent, I think the initial user prompt is bugged.. only problem now is loading long lists (catalog etc.) is sluggish and some heavy duty accessories (like L-BOXX 102/136) cannot be registered (but L-BOXX 238 and trolley can) 🙂 Can it also be possible to delete a registered tool? Had a mistake on the serial number but it still pushed through

There is no sign up option for creating an account, it has Login via OTP or Account login. How am I supposed to create an account? Update : So apparently the sms login is the fast process of making an account, although technically it is confusing to new users. UI can be better. The app overall after login has no issues. Thank you

I'm supposed to scan my product qr code to activate the warranty, but when I do the app just gives an error message "No location permission, go to system settings". I am using the latest version of this app. It seems the manifest file is incorrect and the app won't work with recent versions of Android. I'm using a Samsung S21 with the standard installation.

Quirky. Experienced instances wherein certain tools cannot be identified by its scanner. Hassle on my part or to any other user, I'm sure. Suggestion: the app should allow registration for all Bosch products owned by the user even if it's out of the warranty period.
