Marker TPH digunakan untuk menandai atau menunjukkan titik lokasi di mana tandan buah segar (TBS) dikumpulkan sebelum dikirim ke pabrik kelapa sawit. Penggunaan marker ini sangat penting dalam sistem monitoring dan manajemen kebun karena memungkinkan pengawasan yang lebih akurat terhadap distribusi, pengumpulan, dan pengangkutan hasil panen.
Secara teknis, marker TPH biasanya berbentuk titik koordinat GPS yang dipetakan ke dalam sistem digital. Sehingga petugas di lapangan dapat menggunakan aplikasi CMP untuk memilih TPH secara otomatos untuk mendteksi lokasi aktual TPH saat melakukan panen atau pengumpulan, sehingga lokasi TPH dapat ditandai secara real-time.
