This boarding school for supernaturals isn't hell, but it is on top of it! Can you make peace between the vampire and werewolf students, close the portal to hell, and save the world?"Paranormal Preparatory School" is a 340,000-word interactive comedic dark fantasy novel by David Spain. It's entirely text-based, without graphics or sound effects, and fueled by the vast, unstoppable power of your imagination.
You're the only mortal human student at Cavalcade Academy, a school for supernatural beings. Zombies, werewolves, vampires, and more live and study within its ivy-clad walls. Centuries of hatred between vampires and werewolves have led to deep divides between the two species, and this school is the latest battleground. Your eldritch magic powers will be essential to earn the respect of your peers.
With the opening of the elite St. Mary’s Academy next door--a private school full of pampered, privileged mortal humans--your fellow supernatural students will face their first interaction with humanity. Your school’s reputation is at stake, to say nothing of what the wealthy upper-class St. Mary’s students will think of their paranormal neighbors!
And now, as a portal to hell opens beneath Cavalcade Academy, you’ll need to ally with vampires, werewolves, humans, a ghost, and a cyborg zombie to close it. Make the wrong decisions, and it could mean the end of you, your classmates, and perhaps even the entire world.
Oh, and don’t forget to study for your math exam!

• Infiltrate the elite neighboring school to discover the origin of your frightening visions.

I played through this and was bored almost instantly after the free section stopped. The game gives you no reason to care about characters around you and has a terrible case of "everyone loves you for no reason." Not to mention the choices change nothing at all. You target a skill and then you have to choose the answers that correspond to said skill. That's it. That's the game. No personality to it or change. I've played a lot of games way better than this. I'd say skip this entry.

Made the mistake of buying this game and now I'm struggling to finish it. It really is hard to care about the feud (story could do without this plot) and the characters involved in it. There's also TOO MANY involved. None of them develop and any romance is pretty lackluster. You also don't really get to have a personality, only stats and checks. Even if the game telegraphs what stat you need, it's not making for an immersive experience. The wordbuilding and terms used could be better as well.

The writing is okay. The real issue with the game is that the whole supernatural school/human in supernatural conflict story has been done so many times, even within the Choice of Games/Hosted Games library. It would have to be really special to stand out, and this one doesn't. It's just the generic hero's journey plot from every other adventure. Even the twists are carbon copies and totally expected.

I've read a few comments that state it's an over done subject and it was boring: I personally did not feel this way reading it. I havent read many stories like this and I felt the writing and story was descriptive without being TOO descriptive. The characters themselves seemed like they could be expanded upon, but it's a short time period and they're teenagers. Overall, I felt it to be worth the buy and worth the multiple times I replayed it.

The academic setting is almost as contrived as the brilliantly original supernatural elements. Honestly there are so many like this, half heartedly pumped out from writers with no originality, that it has become the sad standard for choice of games. How the mighty have fallen.

A decent enough book but nearly everything from the characters to the storyline felt flat enough for me to actually look forward to finishing it and moving on. The main character constantly being insulted, threatened, bullied and treated less than by their peers (family and faculty included) unless they either romanced or sufficently sucked up to them certainly didn't help either. Sonia in particular made me want to tear my hair out every single time she spoke.

I hate to pile on but this one is a very flat insert into the library. Which is weird because I liked the setting. It had promise. But boy does it fail to deliver. It is a bit more woke than Id prefer but not the worst offender. The biggest flaw is lack of depth. Characters are as flat and stereotypical as they can be. Also one character is a zombie but is actually a robot? It didn't make sense.

I like this game but it gave me plain/blank page when I opened it but I can still goes to stat and achievements but can't see the text! Of course, I did try on my other phone and still the blank. Please I'm begging you tell me what's wrong with this apps!
