There's no way to cancel, so they'll scam charge you. I tried for days to cancel, but there's no way to find how to in the app, nor the website. The voices are choppy, robotic, and the app freezes or stops or crashes constantly. Do not fall for the reviews!!! I suspect they are bots! It's a terrible app, service, and overpriced for the buggy garbage you actually get! Ironically I never would have posted a review if they had just been honest and let me cancel since the service is unusable!

worked great all through the free trial. shortly after my money was taken however, it's borderline unusable. downloading doesn't work. playback constantly stops and has to be manually restarted every two minutes. so tired of these text to speech apps acting like this. if it worked like it did before, this would be a positive review. at a complete loss and the end of my patience with these apps. it was cheap, either. for $100 a year it should work like it's supposed to

been using this software for 7 months fairly intensively. the ai voices are pretty great if far from perfect. however the app has been somewhat glitchy from the start, but with the most recent updates to the app, it seems to have gone to hell. the primary glitch that's frustrating is that it keeps switching from the AI voice to regular voice as if has lost internet. then it stops. then I switch back to the AI voice and click play, but it doesn't take, and continues with the terrible default voic

Purchased the premium membership and it is not worth it. When using Kindle the narrator voices glitch and two will play at the same time. Or every other paragraph you have to press play again. Or they simply won't load at all for 1-2 days. Support tells you to uninstall the app but that has never worked to fix the glitches and then you have to sit through the 5 minute app intro every time you uninstall and reinstall. It's a great concept but so glitchy and not worth it.

Buggy experience, the visual highlights weren't close to the text I scanned and were really distracting. Too expensive for something you can do mostly free and will be free elsewhere soon. Some times scans didn't show up. The worst tho is dark patterns in the cancelation process. It's either extremely bad ux flow or intentionally misleading, with text telling you to do one thing when it's incorrect, and other text fully off the screen. Not an app I would trust.

As a concept, this is amazing. 5 stars for that. BUT functionality? It's not the greatest. I can understand having to pause to process the words but it so jarring when it happens. and having to close and reopen the app multiple times before it allows you to follow along reading your kindle books is annoying. Also, I have to log into my kindle account repeatedly. I shouldn't have to pay for these features when they don't work correctly.

It's very good for keeping up with school reading. I upload a PDF, and import it to this app, then I can listen to the content while I do other things. It's helping me get through grad school as a busy employed adult. One star removed due to download issues (resolved with a cache clear), a lack of an ability to assign voices to favorite or to files, you have to scroll the voice list each time, and a lack of an exclusionary tool for editing articles (necessary for removing pullout quotes).

I've had a technical issue that is making it hard to use this. The voice, no matter which one I use, keeps cutting in and out or skipping paragraphs, it has pronunciation problems with the simplest of words and makes weird noises at odd times. I've already tried to get help through the support and the individual talked me in circles and asked about things that I had already told them about. Which is incredibly irritating. Definitely not worth the time and effort I'll have to find something else.
