** The #1 Prayer App & #1 Catholic App**WHAT IS HALLOW
Hallow is a Christian prayer app that offers audio-guided meditation sessions to help us grow in our Christian faith & spiritual lives and find peace in God. Explore over 10,000 different sessions on contemplative prayer, meditation, Catholic Holy Bible readings, music, and more.
In today’s world, we’re stressed, anxious, distracted, and often sleep-deprived. At the same time, we’re searching for deeper meaning, purpose & relationships. We believe these two challenges can be addressed with the same solution: peace in Jesus. In the end, after all, a halo in Heaven is the goal :)
WHAT YOU GET
• Daily Prayers & Devotionals: Pray daily across methods, including 3 of our most popular – Lectio Divina (in Daily Readings), the Holy Rosary, the Divine Mercy Chaplet, or Daily Mass Readings and Reflections.
• Christian Meditation: Similar to mindfulness meditation in learning to be comfortable in silence. But in Christian meditation, the goal is never to remain in ourselves, always to lift our hearts & minds to God, to talk with Him, listen to Him, and recognize His presence with us
• Bible Stories for Sleep: Try sounds of the Night Prayer from Liturgy of the Hours/Daily Office and Catholic Holy Bible stories read by folks like Jonathan Roumie from The Chosen or Father Mike Schmitz from The Bible in a Year podcast
• Rosary: Meditate with Mary through the mysteries of the Catholic Rosary and other daily devotionals and prayers.
• Ignatian Examen: Reflect & meditate on your day and find an awareness of God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit
• Lectio Divina: Converse with God through passages/Scripture from the Holy Bible
• Taizé & Gregorian Chant: Calm, meditative chants, Christian music & sleep sounds
• Community: Join the Pray40 Lent Challenge from Ash Wednesday to Easter, or our Pray25 Advent Challenge for Christmas
• Homilies & Guests: From Fr. Mike Schmitz, Bishop Barron, and more on topics like being a Catholic Dad, family & more!
• Praylists: Sessions on joy, humility, discernment, stress reduction, and calm sleep meditations
• Personal Prayer Journal: Pray, meditate & document your spiritual journey
• Challenges: Join thousands of Catholics and Christians in a community of prayer such as Easter Prayers, Divine Mercy Chaplet, or 54-Day Rosary Novena.
• Litanies, Novenas, & Devotionals: Try the Litany of Humility, the Surrender Novena & more!
• Minute Meditations: Jesus, I Trust in You; Angelus; Holy Rosary Decade; St. Michael the Archangel prayer & more!
Additional features to customize your prayer experience:
• 3 different length options for each prayer (typically 5, 10, or 15 minutes)
• Set prayer reminders to pray and journal
• Include calm background music like Gregorian chant
• Download & listen offline
• Join a Hallow Family to share prayers, intentions, and journal reflections with one another

This is a great app. Was using it for free for months, I still love it. However, the latest update changed the format for the reading portion of prayers/stories. Please change it back. It didn't need to be "fixed"! Update: please remove the scroll bar on the right of the reading page. There wasn't anything wrong with the way it was. Thanks!!!

I love this app! My only gripe is that on some of the prayers, readings, etc., the words of the beginning of sentences will be cut off. It sounds like the sound is cut out in between the speakers works to prevent background noise, but sometimes it's cut too long. For example the speaker will say "the word of the lord" but all I'll hear is "word of the lord".

The app does not consistently mark completed prayers as complete. I lost a 500+ day streak a few months ago because of this. Progress in a challenge is not recorded, and I have to listen to the last 10 seconds of the prayer again so the app can realize it has been completed. Sometimes, I have to play the last couple of seconds of the prayer a couple of times before Hallow marks it "Done".

Yesterday, while watching the election results I saw a commercial for this prayer app. Curious, I downloaded it to check out its features and subscription tiers. The app being primarily Christian and Catholic based I decided to keep an open mind. I'll be honest. It's actually nicely done. Tons of free guided meditations or prayers up to 15 minutes in length each. Subscription is fairly priced but there are still great prayers offered to try even if you don't have the money to spend. Great app!

Wish there was an option to turn off the"sign of the cross" in every prayer. I know, I should have read it's a Catholic app, but to be fair the influencers that brought me here didn't state it was a 'Catholic' app at all in the multiple times they promoted it, and it's not very evident unless you're looking for that. Nothing against Catholics, I grew up going to Catholic schools(St.Theresa, Damien high). I just think it would be a nice option for other Christians that do prayers differently.

I didn't find the app to be helpful for me during the free trial period. I read reviews where people were charged even after following through with canceling their subscriptions. I canceled a month early, took screenshots, and emailed support to ensure I wouldn't have this problem. However, just like the others have said, I was charged again. What an aggravating experience. I signed up through the app. There is a "Cancel my Subscription" option in app, so why have it if it's worthless?!

Overall I've really enjoyed this app. The Lenten challenge changed my life. I had a hard time wth the Marian Consecration one but thus far enjoying thy Gospel of John challenge. The home page is not intuitive. And I wish there was more options to learn cathecism and/or podcasts about different topics but in this prayer way. In all, I'm thankful my priest mentioned this to me as I was returning to the church as it's helped me commit and surrender.

Love the app and the amount of content it has, but am not very fond of bugs such as with the feature of being able to read The Bible and certain icons for the prayers and meditations being blank. Perhaps this is an ANDROID thing only, but still wish the developers would get these bugs that, yes, are pretty small and minimal, but would be nice to have the developers fix, especially on account of all the people that pay for a monthly or annual subscription (such as myself).
