I remember getting the monthly booklet of Our Daily Bread from my church. The app is inspirational just like the book and offers much more. I really like the evening meditations too. The only issue with the app is I am automatically signed out and when I sign back in I have lost my current streak. I wish their was a way to keep accurate count of my daily readings.

I would love to give it four or five stars, however, the last update made it look and feel a bit cluttered. Also, the issue of losing your streak still hasn't been fixed. What I mean is, I can be on a good streak and suddenly it just restarts as though I missed a day. Overall, it is a great tool to add to daily devotionals or to share God's Word with others.

I LOVE Daily Bread!! I get in the mail all the time! But since I have a very curious toddler, it's hard to read books sometimes without him trying to snatch it or change the page on me. Lol so I tried the app & it kept freezing or kicking me off the app completely! If y'all can fix that, I'll change my rating & redownload the app.

I'm so glad I'm able to view the app again. It kept crashing, I'm assuming from the new appearance because of an update. It works great now. Only woe is that I had to go back and re-bookmark all my favorite lessons, as it does not save them even though I used my FB account. Glad to have it back up and running! EDIT: my one issue is that a reminder does NOT come up every day, even though I have set it to do reminders every morning a 8am. Can someone fix this??

With the most recent update (2/27/24), I've reduced the rating from 5 to 4. The datk mode color is set to blue and is not easy on the eyes. The previous dark mode executed better. Also, there aren't as many settings that the user can select from; for instance opening the app directly to the daily devotional. Instead, you enter in the main screen and then have to tap to view the devotional. This update is a step back in user experience.

A Google user

I've used this app for years. I loved everything about it including hearing the day's message being read. It's a wonderful option. Sharing a beautiful photo and scripture for the day was so helpful to my friends on Facebook. In the last few weeks the app has been freezing and shutting down. I've been unable to share, and Friday a dreadful pop-up about winning an I-phone pops up and covers the screen. I agree with some other users. I believe that Bible Gateway is the cause of the problem.

I'm an android user of Our Daily Bread. With the recent upgrade, I am experiencing the same issues as other reviews are indicating. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted device but cannot get the app to work. Please let me know when an update us available. Thank you. I have again completed steps you indicated without success. If it helps, I typically log in with my facebook account. My husband uses the app as a guest. He has no problem using the app while I cannot even get it to come up

Opened the app this morning to read. Nothing loaded. Went to this page and read the 2/24 post. Uninstalled, reinstalled, app only allowed me to get to start. I have thoroughly enjoyed this app for about a year. Will miss it. Thank you. Thank you for contacting me. I reinstalled the app and found that it is totally different. For those that install for the first time or reinstall, just hit the back key when you get to the ready page.
