Lapse 2: Before Zero is the official prequel to Lapse: A Forgotten Future. That you are here means, in some way, you were successful in your quest to save the world – or to destroy it. Doesn’t really matter which, since you’re about to travel from a future world into the ancient times. The one who once was President is now Pharaoh, the one who once was a machine is now your most precious ally in the challenge to come. When you open your eyes, the year is 1750 BC, and the place is ancient Egypt. For some unknown reason, this mysterious land needs your help. Proceed cautiously: what may seem like ruling just another kingdom, may well be the key to the world’s survival.
Lapse 2: Before Zero answers the players’ questions, revealing the mysteries of the first chapter.

Love this game! It can seem like its a tad repetitive, but since each game can go so differently its not a deal breaker at all. The same cards can come up at different times within the game so even picking the same way you did before can yeild different results. Great work would love to see you guys come up with a third game!

I really liked both of your games but this one is probably my favorite for a few reasons. 1. I really like how the scale was incoperated and used as a a sort of karma system. 2. Of course adding yourself in is always a nice touch. 3. The plot is really deep and you never really know when it will progress but it is always worth the wait and or death.

Just as awesome and engaging as the first game, it implements new features, a variety of endings, and many characters. Humor is implemented into the game well, although it's mostly serious. After a while of playing, the dialogue options become repetitive, but it's still an amazing game considering that advertisements are completely optional. As this game implements concepts and characters from the 1st game quite well to make it a proper sequel, you should play the 1st game before this.

A direct follow up to Lapse (definitely play it first), with equally as gripping of a story with pleasuring music and simple gameplay. Taking a little dungeon exploration inspiration from their other game Reigns, adds a unique touch to the gameplay that wasn't in the first iteration. Although still in beta, the game already feels fully made with a few (essentially unnoticeable) grammar and gameplay errors that should get corrected by the final iteration. Overall one of my favorite mobile games.

The game is absolutely addictive and fun, like its predecessor. I can't stop relishing in how unique the story is for both, and due to easy design and function, it can entertain me for hours on end. The only complaint I have is how when I die, the year goes back, and I feel as though I am getting farther from the end. Though this is minor, and the game still deserves five stars for its easy design, addictive gameplay, and storytelling features!

Although this game is still on beta, it's been a wonderful experience. It's more challenging than Lapse: a Forgotten Future, at least to me. I love the chance cards and how the purity/weight of the heart is included. Makes the game a much better experience! No bugs that I've noticed whatsoever so far, though I had trouble finding this game/ knowing it existed because I didn't think the "lapse 2: Before Zero" thing displayed on Lapse: a Forgotten Future was a button/ link. Love the games though!

Awesome. Lots of cool story-line elements and secrets, packs a lot of great content in what appears to be a simple card-oriented game. Surprising amount of strategy, but not too difficult as to be frustrating. And the "Creator" that pops up throughout the game is awesome, really cute and super creative haha. Love this game, and can always come back to it even after not playing for a very long time

I really enjoy spending time playing this game between classes or on lunch breaks. This new iteration gives a lot of opportunities to see new cards more frequently so it stays more gripping longer. The balance systems still need some tweaking, I think. It seems too simple to get stuck having low values on all 4 stats, or maybe I'm just not good enough yet haha
