Workaround for the App if it should not open: the app need that Sound Blaster Services is running in the background. Newer Android Phones blocks associated launches that run in the background too save some batterypower. Go under Settings -> App Management -> Associated launch manager and ALLOW (normally everything is deactivated) Sound Blaster Services to launch and run in the Background. Hope it solves the problems with the app for somemore people that way; simply give it a try!

App used to work well, but as my Pixel 2XL has updated Android several times (and now on Android Q), this app hasn't been updated to keep up. Several SBX features don't seem to work if you change them via the app anymore, and there's notifications every few minutes about the app not being for Android Q and may not work. I've removed it now, and will just use the software on my PC (which also hasn't been updated since 2016 for Windows). Feels like they've abandoned updating it.

App is not maintained any more. Powerful device with an ugly app. The app is functional and advanced, but terrible UX. Please add volume control to notification bar or add volume control widget. Ideally I would love a simple app with just volume control and mute options. Without a physical remote control for X7, app is the only way to change volume and it is deeply hidden inside. Looks like Creative abandoned development of this app. Why not open source it and let community maintain?

Crazy how such expensive device can be accompanied with such old unsupported app. Device still can be purchased as new. IS TO ALL PEOPLE EXPERIENCING CONNECTION PROBLEM. At least that helped me. I got honor p20 that started to experience connection issues. Had to go to battery setting and remove app from all optimizations. Allow up to run in background auto start etc. After reboot all is good...

Requires another app that needs to be running all the time, the phone gives me constant alerts that Sound Blaster Services is resident in memory, there's no way to kill the app, it comes back all the time. As usual with Creative, there is always an effup with their products.

Creative PC installers and Apps were never great, but this one is a total mistake. Can't even turn on/off X7. App crashes, reconnects, controls in app are to small, can't set proper volume. It's 2021 guys, not 1990, hire UX designer for this APP!!!!!

After starting the app the first time, the app asks you install "sound blaster services" on your decide. After pressing install, it appears "not found" and that is all what happens. So looks like the app can't be used anymore? Disappointing

Not the greatest experience. The app freezes constantly. It's like it has no multitasking every bg task freezes UI... Not finding my x7 most of the time even if I'm already connected to it. Hoped for a more refined app by now.
