With csuki we set out to transform the use of public transport in Cluj, Iași and Timișoara into a more pleasant experience.

We can't make drivers more punctual 🕝

What we can do is better estimate the departure times from the stations, so that we don't waste time waiting for trams, trolleys and buses.

Csuki has two modes of operation: Map or Timetable.
You can change the mode with the 📃 button next to the blue elephant, in the lower right.

Csuki starts directly in Map mode, because it's the easiest to use.
You just have to choose the line, then the direction with the ↕ button.

🔒 If the lock is closed, you will see - marked in blue - only means of transport of the selected line.

🔓 If the lock is open, means of transport of other lines - marked in yellow, which share a common route with the selected line - may appear on the linear map.

If the selected line has an official timetable (pdf), a click on a station will open the official up-to-date timetable of that station.

Timetable mode is a bit more difficult to use, as it requires more information from the user, but it offers some advantages in return.

In this operating mode, a timetable will appear with the following 3 means of transport that run from the departure station to the destination.
You have to choose the line, then the departure station and the destination station.

Do you have some routes that you use more often?
In Timetable mode you can save them to the Favorites list, then you can access them in just 3 clicks.
Click on the elephant, in the lower right.

🔒 If the lock is closed, only means of transport of the selected line will appear in the timetable.

🔓 If the lock is open, means of transport of other lines may also appear in the timetable, running from the departure station to the destination station. Maybe some other transport line is coming faster than the line you chose.

If the selected line has an official timetable, a button with a clock will appear next to the departure station, and a click on it will open the official up-to-date timetable of the departure station.


If you use LONG CLICK on the fields: Line, Departure or Destination, you can choose from lists, instead of typing.
It's much faster, and you can see all the available options that way.

🔔 Do you want to receive a notification 15 minutes before the tram arrives at the station?
Set the "Notify me in advance" field to: 15 min and activate the bell.
Csuki will notify you when a means of transport is at the minutes entered from the departure station.

You can activate the notification only if all other fields are valid.
If any value is incorrect, the field will be highlighted in blue.

If you want the notification to be active only starting from a certain time, set the optional time.
If the entered time is already exceeded, the notification will be activated on the following day.

The language can be changed from the "abc" button.

The background can be changed from the ☼/☾ button.

Do you want to know which is the nearest station?
Press the "?" button (locate me) and after a few seconds csuki will fill all the fields with the station data found closest to you.

If csuki has to send you a relevant message, you can read it by pressing the ✉️ button.
