Automatically sums up the dots on a group of dominoes using your phone's camera.
Latest version includes a complete score application!

Keeps score for 2 to 8 players. If you have too many dots too count, use the AUTO COUNT feature and let your phone or tablet count the dots for you!

Auto Count will count the dots (a.k.a. pips) on a group of dominoes using the camera. Great for adding up the dots on a large number of tiles at the end of a round of Mexican Train dominoes. Just point the camera at the dominoes you wish to count, and tap anywhere on the screen. The total will appear in a second or two. A circle is drawn around each pip in the image so you can verify what was counted. The total is then added to the player score.

Add or delete players in mid game.
Add more rounds whenever you like.
Long press the player name to customize the name.
The app keeps track of which rounds are complete and will warn you if you try to rescore a round that has already been scored.
Use the slider at the top to slide through rounds when they can't all be displayed at once.
Rounds can count up or down.

For best results, it is important to hold the camera horizontally over the dominoes. It is also important to play on a solid-colored surface like a wood table or a solid tablecloth.

For those of you who liked the Domino Dot Counter the way it was - don't panic. You can disable scoring in the settings menu.

Lots of potential! While playing with it, I switched off the scoring and the only way back was to force stop and clear the app's storage. We start with 0 (double blank) and then go 9 down to 1. Had to call the first round 10 instead of 0. Can easily add a player or round, but there's no way to remove them. Original setup can't be changed unless you clear the app's storage.

A handy app that counts domino dots. I chose to turn off the scoring mode and now I get a very simple interface. Tap the screen to count the dots. Unfortunately I can't figure out how to get back to settings. There is no menu or icon on the screen.

I've been using this app for a while and it works great. Camera dot count is very accurate but I suggest to purchase a domino set that doesn't have the rivet in the center as it will be added as an additional dot. Interface is fairly easy to use.

The UI is a bit clunky and confusing, but it does what it asvertises, and even showing an image of what it considers to be dots, so that you can tell if the app is being fooled by non-domino-dot textures or object on your monthly domino night. I'm onto you, auntie. You and your textured kitchen table are not going to make me and my phone lose at our monthly domino nights.

Use this app every time we play. Great timesaver. Easy to add extra players. The photo scoring works well also. Does miscount depending on surface but never had an issue if i place dominoes on blank paper.

Actually works very well great for keep track of multiple players Domino counts. Care in certain textured surfaces it may count random dots but it highlights the spot it counts. Used for count dot style dominos not number as far as I know.

Totally worth it on my very first round, I had to count 178 pips. Fast, and you can confirm the count by seeing which doors didn't get selected.

Tried the demo first, and it worked perfectly on Pixel 3a xl, so decided to buy the full version. A worthwhile tool for adding up dominos. Saves so much time counting which leaves more time for playing!
