I recently got hold of a small DisplayLink USB TFT screen that has been previously used with a cash register. Dunno the model, but it has a "TVS" logo on the front. Works flawless with Windows 10, but not with my tablet due to USB bus power issues. Not enough mAmps, I guess. I'm gonna try more Hosts at a later point of time. Maybe some of them have enough power to get the screen up and running. I'll keep you informed.

Works using Pixel 9 and "Plugable" brand adapter. However, it really needs some options to override the screen rotation, including for a vertical orientation monitor. It would be nice if there was more flexibility so I could use this for presentations.

Does not support audio. Support site provided work-around doesn't. They got lazy. Tell you to use 3rd party app to tell Android to send audio to display link. 3rd party app is not allowed on Android 14+. So, no audio support until they they provide this important, basic function inside the app. Video works fine. Hardware supports audio. App is broken. No way to kick off app manually. If another USB app fails to pass connection notice (e.g. MLUSB), it doesn't work. Missing feature.

Works sometime. Mostly starts and dies. When it does work it works well, but usually stops after 10 or so minutes. Chokes on an Asus display port add-on monitor. Tries to start flashes on screen then fails. Set phone to always on and things have been running well. Changed rating to three, still some issues but this program is worth trying.

Works but with some drawbacks. For Pixel 6 Pro you need a USBC hub or USBC splitter to USBC female and USBA, as well as a $35 adapter. DRM protected sources won't show video (Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, etc.) But works well with other apps like Google Photos, Plex, etc. If you have a Pixel 6 get the Diamond BVU3500H off Amazon and this app will work. I just needed to display my screen wired and this worked well. A little sad that I can't watch DRM stuff but I can understand.

It can mirror my phone display to a DisplayLink-enabled monitor, without any latency. That's fantastic! Just a note that my Dell S2340T big monitor's touch screen feature does not register tapping when connecting to my Tablet LG V521 (running Android 6); it does register tapping but only on portrait mode when connecting to my Nexus 6P (running Android 7). Contacted DisplayLink and they said the touch part was not handled by DisplayLink, but by Android itself. Fair enough.

I would like to take back part of my previous comment. I figured out that samsung uses dex. I accidentally click to switch to dex display when it prompted. Under notification panel, found out there is another prompt to switch to mirroring display which solves my problem. However, I would still like to have the capability to extend not mirror. But this is one step closer.

Works flawlessly except for places like Amazon video where, due to content protection, I can't watch anything (Netflix SD plan works though?). I have been using this with 2 different Motorola phones for a few years now, and it works great, especially with my new phone. I haven't had a single issue with my new phone. It even works if you change the resolution of your phone with something like SecondScreen! This allows me to use any screen with any resolution.
