I've been using this app for years. Off and on with the subscription. Used to be a decent service, and I loved the free streaming of live anime. Just canceled the subscription as you are now shown ads even as a paying member. Dissapointing. Now a reply after more than a month to "fix my issue?" No thanks, I already have. I canceled and saved my money.

Its a really great idea for an anime streaming app. The app runs smoothly well, but it is hard to navigate through. There are a lot of good anime shows on there, but the current library, as well as options are a little underwhelming. For example, there is not a lot of popular 80s/90s classics such as dragon ball, sailor moon, ranma 1/2, Inuyasha, etc. There doesn't seem to be any indication that the show is English dubbed or subbed, no option to switch versions, such as astro boy 1980 to sub.

I love the fact that this is free. The selection of anime is also robust for this app being new. Cannit wait till you add more options. However, you may want to adjust how the playlist function works. It is a tad clunky. Making it more steamlined and less complicated would work wonders for the app. Maybe do a watchlist instead? Very similar to how VRV or Crunchyroll do it might help. Overall, I am happy with this FREE service!

Still a great app and service. As of right now (4/1/23) most the shows appear to be missing at first glance but if you actually go to the search bar and search individually a-z you can find everything still. Otherwise not everything shows up in their subsections. Sucks you have to use that work around but they did just update it and I believe they are working on it and the shows are still all there as far as I can tell so no harm no foul.

The update from this streaming service made it unbearable. At first, i had to change a new password due to password limitations, which is fair. But secondly, it erased my progress of shows ive watched previously. Some shows has been removed which is a common occurrence on streaming services due to licensing and etc. But what really annoyed me is it doesn't even saveed progress on certain devices. Both my fire tv and chromcast doesnt keep it, but watching on mobile does. This such a downgrade.

There are some really strange design decisions with the video player, lack of settings, and features that would be great if they were here but aren't. There's also a lack of polish. I know many old anime were made in lower resolutions (ex: 480p), but I at least didn't expect piracy site levels of low bitrate. Although, the service IS free at the end of the day, so I'm not gonna be any more picky. Ads are rare as well, I expected a loooot of ads, but no!

Retrocrush has great shows, but ultimately is ruined by a buggy video player that randomly resets shows to the very beginning. The app is also too sensitive and too quick to switch from landscape to portrait mode and these transition seem to trigger video resets the most. RetroCrush's video player has to be worst one out of ALL subscriptions services. Luckily I was on a free 1 month trial. I'll not be paying for any continued service afterwards if they don't fix the video player.

The app works fine enough on its own, but it seems like casting to Chromecast (or other) is completely broken. Not only does it not see my Chromecast devices (just Google Home rooms), but when I try to cast it to these or my smart TV directly, it either does nothing or crashes the app. I would love a way to watch these on my TV at home from my phone!
