The UX is terrible, it's like nobody in this company launched an audio player in the past two decades. Why do I need a select list to play a song? If I click on it it should play. Why do I need to use "play album" to play an album in its entirety? I can't use the track list because if you use this it only plays one song on a loop, why? Open any streaming app and copy their ux it would be miles better than what you're doing... And now ads? Are you trying to make it worse?

Locked in a proprietary technology. I've been using it for many weeks now, and I feel stuck anytime I'm using it. It's complicated to do every action. It lacks basic functionalities. I can't even stream audio from my phone. Everything needs to come from a registered source. It lacks Google music, YouTube music... DLNA source only works in local, no remote server. Frustrating. The designers don't care about user experience, clearly not their priority. I'd better use my phone and my Bluetooth

When they finally decided to give it a long overdue user interface overhaul they did a half assed effort. Now the front page looks more modern but it takes forever to load and doesn't show anything useful for me which makes it pretty useless. If you go down and search for music to play from Tidal you still get the abysmal old UI that looks like a file system from the 80s. Still no support for artist radios. And of course it still doesn't play Tidal High Def FLACs above 16 bit. Why bother?

Was working really well but the recent update is buggy. When navigating away from the app and coming back it does not remember its state. Also getting an occasional session expired error and intermittent times when the stereo is not being found. 24th July 24 - Another great update. Now crashes even quicker than before. 4th Dec - After a good run of it working well for a while it's gone back to being bad. Seems to be a repeating cycle with each update of break it...fix it...break it...fix it...

Although very slowly this app is definitely getting better and better. Zero issues over the last couple of months using 4 speakers and Heos AMP from different generations. Playing both from my NAS and Spotify the app is very stable. I don't like the need for a login but the ability to save playlist is a very good feature to finally have

I love the new group feature and bug fixes. We invested in Denon speakers (8?) throughout the house years ago when this app was not good. I almost considered switching systems because of the app functionality. The updates and fixes have given me hope that Heos will continue to support and improve their products.

When I want to play my phone Playlist I open the list and when scrolling they become blank. The list is blank just because of scrolling. This problem has accured since about 6 months now with no solution. 12/24 update, also after trying the app again Playlist still some show blank, adding to the problem the after a few min the music stops. Seems the phone has to be always on.

This app lacks so many features that competing products intuitively handle. Making playlists is close to impossible to understand. The fact you can't link from a song in your own collection to the artist or album is ridiculous. It would be great to customize the home screen to default only the stuff I care about. It plays songs well, I just think the UX leaves a lot of usability on the table.
