The radiator is lovely, and the app gives some useful statistics about usage, and this what I'm giving the stars for. However, there is nothing intuitive about the programming and controls! You can even call it awful! Programming is in individual hour slots with no minutes involved! It would be much simpler to use from hh:mm to hh:mm type of programming. I still have not figured out a way of doing a boost or start now type controls, that does not turn the heater to manual mode only!

Worked fine once I realised I was trying to setup a towel rail as a radiator. Error messages are not helpful but I got there in the end. Other than that, setup is fairly simple. I put my router into 2.5GHz only mode, no 5GHz. Not sure if that was important. Oct 2024 edit: Newer Bluetooth setup should make things a lot easier. Remember to check for new firmware on your radiator (or use the app to do it)

I'd had issues connecting previously with Android, only being able to connect via an Apple device. It looks like there's been an update: I managed to reset and connect my radiators really quickly and easily. The Bluetooth connection works perfectly. I was already happy with the radiators, now connections work it's all good

It took ages to get the radiators to configure, problems with Internet connections, but once they connected using the app was so simple! Then the app simply stopped opening! I got all the radiators in the house added to it, set the programming for them to come on and off at the right time on the right temperatures, but now the app won't even come on. It's so frustrating, as it seemed to be working brilliantly.

It looks like they spent more money on making the app pretty rather than work correctly. They said there were server issues affecting my product but in the app I can't see any metering/graphs and commands take minutes to reach the heater. Also if you have 1 minor setting difference in the zone compared to the heater in the zone you'll get a purple screen that won't show useful info, so you always have to double down into the heater. As an app developer I found this a very strange way to do UI.

Heater looks good, but the programming is unintuitive, way too complicated and even when you think you have it figured out, it doesn't switch the heater on at the programmed time, which was the entire reason for getting a wifi controllable heater. Yesterday our heater stayed on at 30°c all day because the 2 hour boost didn't switch it off as expected. The timing is on a 24 hour clock but think it's 10am when it's 10pm. Problematic if 2 people use the app for the same device.

It doesn't work. I am trying to set up a new rointe d series installation and when I try to create an account it says 'there is a problem with your internet connection' and when I try to use the app I keep getting 'unexpected error' errors. Such poor quality, and I see from the other reviews on here that it appears to be an issue with the latest version of the app - Rointe, do you not test your software?

It was hard work setting it up but it worked for a while. However recently the app refuses to recognise the internet connection and won't work at all. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it still won't connect. Now I can't even sign into the app. I just get "unexpected error occured" Also the copy on the sign in screen is incorrect. It's says "Already have an account? Sign up" After spending so much money on a radiator I kind of expected it to be at least functional...
