Use your finger to improve your memory! This app is designed to exercise and challenge your short-term memory with a set of games which difficulty increases with progressive game levels. This unique feature of the app is it features six different game modes with varying degrees of difficulty: (a) standard; (b) random; (c) challenge; (d) brick; (e) Match Duo; (f) Match Duo Plus. These game modes render the app always fun and refreshing to play.
Specifically, each game presents you with a set of figures randomly assigned to tiles. To win the game, you need to remember the placement of figures on their associated tiles, and move each figure, with your finger, back to its corresponding tile, or tap a figure's tile to have the app place the figure to that tile, within the allocated time and lives for the game.
To make the games interesting, there are sound effects to alert you of every correct and wrong move during a game, and most figures in a game are different than those in the previous game. Moreover, you may add your own photos as custom figures for the games, and the tiles can be randomly placed to give you a fresh look of each game. Also, you may change the background to one of the several images provided by the app, or choose the mixed background where the app will depict a different background for each new game.
In addition to the above, the app also provides the Brick, Match Duo and Match Duo Plus game modes, where you tap on bricks in those games to reveal correct figures for those games. Please refer the release notes included in the app for detailed descriptions of the Brick, Match Duo and Match Duo Plus game modes.
Another feature of the app is it can play motivational music to enhance your pleasure in playing games. The music can be played once or in loop, and you may add your own songs as well as select which songs to play in the music playlist.
Yet another feature of the app is it has been internationalized to support English, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese languages. This means based on your device's language settings, the app may display its text data in English, Simplified Chinese or Traditional Chinese.
Finally, to make the games even more challenging, you may select the Challenge play mode, where you will need to place figures either one column to the right or left from their assigned tiles. or one row up or down from their associated tiles. Alternatively, you may select the Brick play mode where you will need to knock out brick tiles (instead of moving figures) to uncover all figures to win games. These new play modes will further exercise your memory and problem solving skill, and render the app even more fun to play.
Note: your device should have at least 8GB of memory to run MemPal.

Mempal is a great game to improve your memory in a fun way! It starts off easy enough, but as the levels progress, you really have to start using your brain! The graphics look nice and the game itself is very engaging! I highly recommend :)

I have been looking for something that can train and improve my short-term memory and so glad that I found MemPal. It requires no learning so I could start to play right after download. It gets challenging for me at level 8 and I am still playing it over and over. I am looking forward to moving to level 9 soon. I am loving it!
