Healow App is a convenient mobile tool that helps patients access health information and communicate with their providers to stay engaged, motivated, and make healthy choices. With the healow app, patients can easily:Message the care team – Contact care team through quick, secure direct messages.
View test results – Access labs and other test results as soon as they become available.
Self-schedule appointments – Book appointments with the care team and view upcoming visits beyond regular office hours.
Check in before the visit – Easily check in for appointments and save time by completing any necessary documentation before arrival.
Attend virtual visits –Initiate and attend telehealth visits with members of the care team.
View medications, set medication reminders, and request for refills without calling the doctor.
View medical history including allergies, immunizations, vitals, visit summary, and other health information.
Monitor vitals and meet health goals using weight management, activity, fitness, and sleeping tracking tools to track readings and watch for trend changes to share with the doctor.
Manage and view multiple family member’s health records under one account.
Please note that patients must have an existing healow Patient Portal account with their doctor’s office. Once downloaded and launched, the patient must log in using the username and password used to access the provider’s healow Patient Portal website to begin using the app. It will ask the user to create a pin and enable Face ID or Touch ID. Enabling either of these features will save the user from having to enter their login information every time they want to use the app.

Keeps demanding a signature to progress with check-in but doesn't show a place or prompt for one. I can't do anything past a certain point because of this. Total, infuriating garbage. Update: Developer suggested changing my phone's basic settings. That's not a reasonable solution. This app is the only one I've ever had this issue with and it's absurd to expect users to reconfigure their entire phone around a single app that they probably didn't want or choose in the first place.

Buggy app . It biggest issue I seen is once you launch the televisit, don't switch to any other app, it drop you from the session and ends it, and brings you to home screen. If your provider hasn't join you can rejoin, if they have them it ends it permanently. Can't rejoin. So something as simple as checking you calender app kills the meeting. Also when you start the app, you audio source need to be picked , otherwise might not allow you to change. Once you start a visit, don't touch it.

Super clunky to use. Shows notifications on appointments but I don't have any new appointments. Same with messages, says 3 unread - there aren't. Messaging a physician is a one time message, you can't go back and forth in a threaded email which is absurd. And if you use text two factor it takes forever to get the text. I'm stuck using it because this is what a couple of my doc's use, but there are far better med practice apps out there. I wish I wasn't stuck with this one

Can never process payment on statements. Literally never. It always says it's invalid. For every card I have. The cards are fine...they work everywhere else. It's just the app that can't do its job. It's the 21st century. If your app can't do the basics, it's garbage. And no, uninstalling and reinstalling did not fix it.

Worst portal ever. Critical lab results not there, yet told they would be. Incorrect history. I've never had a knee replacement! There is no way to correct anything. Too quick of a timeout. Login is difficult when password field is blocked. 1 minute to copy/paste texted code!! The elderly can't possibly use this poorly designed app. Disgusted. Going to complain to my doctor. In writing if needed.

Can't even get going. App gets stuck on "Verify Your Practice". Allows me to click "Show Locations" and "Show Providers". It doesn't let me choose a location and how can I choose any of the providers I know nothing about when I have specific needs? What a mess. Guess I have to do things the old fashioned way and call in the morning. So much for the convenience.

This app failed to let me register for months. Every time I hit the enter (or submit) after entering a password, the app would not respond at all. My wife's account behaved exactly the same way. I think I stumbled on to the cure after many, many attempts. I think the app requires a space at the end of the username and the password. This is counter-intuitive since many apps are exactly the opposite.

I don't like downloading unnecessary apps on my phone. signing up for the app took me an hour. It did not cooperate with the oversized text selections that I have on my phone. I had to change that. set up of the app took way too long. couldn't you just have imported all the sign ins and stuff from medfusion? just because a new company buys usmd, changing the portal is a pain in the butt. please make it easier for patients.
