I honestly did not expect this kind of fidelity in this companion app. I would say I'm probably an audiophile.. At any rate, I was pleasantly surprised to find it not only very much functional, but aesthetically pleasing. This is my first experience with Edifier and I am utterly impressed with both the software and the hardware! (using with QR65s).

Equalizer is very hard to use. When you switch between different "Sound effects" customizations, the sound fades out, there's a "bong", then the sound fades back in again. The switch needs to be instantaneous, or it makes comparison almost impossible. Also, there's only one main "Customized" selection, not one for each customization, so you need two steps to change customization: first to get into "Customized" then another to select which customization.

Unable to log in. The app tells you to log in every time you ope it, for "security"... yet whenever I try to log in, I get an error message that says "timeout" - after about 5 seconds. I've contacted the developer about this, but they don't respond to emails.

To avoid conflicts with Samsung EQ, I must employ a customized "flat" EQ within this application. Only then will it function properly. Additionally, Dolby Atmos appears to interfere with this application. However, I am compelled to utilize Dolby Atmos due to the significantly reduced audio volume.

The Edifier Connex app is good and easy to use. However, the EQ feels limited with only a few bands and a max boost of +3 dB. More bands and a higher boost range would really improve the experience for those who want deeper sound customization.

Cannot login, always timeout. With both password/ OTP. Reset password rendered 'email exist' error. Come on..! With those good functionality and you got error just for login? Thankfully most feature still accessible e/o login.

Custom EQ bands sounds weird. Cannot connect app while on USB or AUX mode. Weird app and limited functionality. M60 volume keep swiyching back default and not last use level settings. Pls improve the custom EQ bands or audio quality. Preset EQ is OK.

just bought Edifier X5 Pro and tried to use the app. the app is very simple and straightforward to use. the design is okay, but the functionality delivered is very good. looking forward to get new improvements i. the upcoming updates.
