Customize for your specific brain type. Take the quiz to set the channel, select background images, session start sound, and timer length...and boom, get productive! Our mission is to help you focus. We started Focus@Will in 2011 to integrate music with productivity. We knew that music can be used for entertainment, our founder is a platinum selling songwriter with over 30 years in the music industry, but we wanted to try something new. So we hand-selected neuroscientists, musicians, and engineers to produce something that was one-of-a-kind.
Over the last 10 years we've helped over 2,000,000 people focus by tailoring brain music specifically to their brain type. Our proprietary AI engine is linked with the world's largest brain database, and our music is created by musicians specifically for productivity.
The music you find on Focus@Will cannot be found anywhere else; we remaster, re-edit, and re-produce each track to remove all distracting elements so you can stay productive and focused.
What’s the value -- to your job, your success, your self-image -- of just one intensely-focused session where you filter out distractions and produce more work in two hours than you typically do in a day? Now, what if you multiplied that value over the course of a month, a year? That's what Focus@Will helps you achieve.
This app gives you a 7-day full-feature free trial. Just install and run. Then have your best work session ever. On-demand.
How do I know if this will work for me? Our in-app assessment agent uses data from the biggest brain database in the world combined with our own data of over 10 years of music brain research to prescribe which specific music type and energy level will work best for you. If it doesn't, no worries we offer a full 30-day money-back guarantee!
Can I listen offline? Yes! We have offline mode.
Can I track my productivity? Yes! We have a built in productivity tracker.
Is there a focus timer? Yes! We encourage you to use the focus timer as a pomodoro timer, create work sessions and break times countless times a day.
Can I change the session start/end sound? Yes! Or turn them off completely.
Our subscribers are entrepreneurs, freelancers, writers, students, and include people that work in large corporations like; Google, Tesla, Apple, SpaceX and Microsoft.
Who we are: We're an independent neuroscience company based in Los Angeles, California. Our mission is to empower you to be the best version of yourself; have a healthy work/life balance; and create fulfillment and happiness in your life.
What sets us apart: We have a customized solution based on our connection to the biggest brain database in the world.
Every audio mix is different for every user, and all the sounds and music we deliver are unique to our system.
Our system manages the ratio between your endogenous attention (ie the task you are focusing on) and your exogenous attention (ie your reptile brain looking for potentially dangerous 'fight or flight' external stimuli). Every human is different, the type of music that helps calm this response is highly individual.
(Fun fact: the more easily distracted you are, the more energy you need to help you focus. Now you'll know why our ADHD channel is the way it is!)
Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, etc., we're big fans - but not when we're trying to be productive! The focus playlists found in these streaming services is usually someone's vague idea of what worked for them. When you want to get stuff done Focus@Will is the only option that was created specifically for productivity needs.

Dear Development Team, Is there any reason why we cannot SAVE tracks that we actually ENJOY listeing to that RESONATE with us, that we actually would like to listen to AGAIN & AGAIN, more than once?... Please update the app to allow users to save their favorite tracks. Otherwise, the practicality is pointless. Playlists exist in the world for a reason. Please make sure the app receives this feature, otherwise, it's a frustrating experience not to be able to save our favorite songs.

I like the music, but the app is clunky and glitchy. To change the timer requires way too many clicks, everything is slow to load, sometimes music just stops randomly. The productivity tracker takes so long to load up, it is really annoying. I want to click a couple of buttons and have music playing, not stuff around for a minute or so before it will start up. I have enough issues with glitching in my own ADHD brain without having to deal with a glitchy app that is supposed to help me focus.

Edited: Then updated it. Works great now :) Great music, but the app is just a web page. This works, but it is a bit lazy. There should be lock screen controls for this as well as something in the notification bar. The G+ sign in should be integrated with Android, one should not need to enter a username and password for a Google account on android. Keep up the good work guys.

This is a great app. I really love to use it... so why the one star? well, because I should say "I would love to be ABLE to use it," But unfortunately, my subscription has expired and none of the interfaces will allow me to renew without the whole thing freezing up. This aspect of the user experience is really annoying. I'd love to renew my subscription and use the app again, but I can't figure out how to get them to take my money.

I started getting this intermittent glitched out noise regardless of what channel I tune to. First day into the year subscription. Tried enabling offline mode, resetting phone, reinstalling. No luck. Bummer to find others leaving similar reviews. Wish I checked them before buying a year sub... I have to actively avoid using it. The glitch sounds are too distracting to even try to tolerate. Wish I could just buy the album they have on repeat and listen with no encoding artifacts.

I see I'm not the only one in liking the idea but hating the app. Yes, I've reported bugs to support twice. They were well documented. One of their recent updates introduced a new bug (why does the app freeze for ten seconds when I open it?), but I've been dragging my feet about reporting it because it seems pointless. I was looking through the reviews because now I'm getting a "focus@will keeps stopping" error. Really looking into alternatives

Helps me to get down to business, with music that on some level doesn't get in the way of focusing and helps me to both sustain and lengthen work without getting bored. The timer is easy to use and set, it frees me up to engage in the work at hand knowing I'll get a heads up when it's time to move to the next thing. Try it...it's truly helpful.

creates an excellent vibe for concentrating on work. I especially like being able to change the session time at will to match the task I am working on. No more cramming a 60 minute task into 25 minutes! I have a huge issue of not being productive because of distractions, this has all but eliminated the distractions....when I remember to use it! Great app!
