This is the only useful music player app I found on Google Play Store. I've tried dozens of other music players. None of them allowed me to play my music in the way I want to... By folder. Thank you for Folder Player Just PLEASE add native Chromecast support. Casting the phone audio through the Home app isn't the same thing. For example, I can't tell the Google Assistant to pause the music when it's not playing directly through an app with native Chromecast support.

I've been using the free version for years and just decided to buy the pro version to support the developer, the free version is awesome too. The app is for people who prefer to stay in control of how your audio files are organized (in folders). It's very convenient, lots of features, and now it even supports android auto. Highly recommend! Edit: The behavior in Android Auto is not ideal. Every time you live the app, switch to a different audio app and then come back to Folder Player, it completely forgets which folder it was in and what it was playing. It would be nice to fix it so that like many other apps, it resumes from where you left off.

Stellar! I love this app! I go pro. This is super-perfect for those of us that own a highly manicured music collection in which individual music files are kept in folders. Pro has many useful features... One of which, a favorite of mine, is the "queue". I really really love this appppp! Thank you Peter!

I am deleting the previous review from a few years ago when I had a Galaxy s7. The app didn't work well with that phone. Now I have an LgV20. App is better than the stock app or the Jet Audio app I also use. Ive tried about every prominent music player out there. _ 11-18-2019 That didn't last long. The app doesn't work correctly again. It's off and on.

Great player. The free version is great, but this deserves paying for, so I bought the pro version just to show my appreciation. Edit: A recent update had a bug, and the developer provided me with a release candidate with a fix (that worked) within hours of my reporting it (the currently available version includes that fix). That's service. My only regret is that I've already given him five stars and can't bump the rating higher for such excellent responsiveness.

Misbehaving! Have used for years, but latest update has destroyed it. Runs in the background, runs battery down, and makes phone get hot. Attempts to optimize in phone settings makes app stop and lose memory of memory card music folders. If you listen to anything like a marathon, this app will now only frustrate you. Can't start every morning and continue where I left off because the app forgets and has to be setup again. Will have to use something else.

I used to love this app. Then I bought the premium version. Now it craps out occasionally and needs to be uninstalled/reinstalled about once a week. Update: I appreciate the response. Sometimes Google maps will cause the need to reinstall. So I'm not blaming just you or the app. It's just really frustrating. Still use the app most of the time.

I love this app. I've used it for years. I had the free version and later went to the paid one. I do have an issue though. Two things. (1) Sometimes it will skip a song and go to the next one when there's nothing wrong with the skipped file because I can go back and play it. (2) Lately, when I use top button (pause) and then again (restart) it should the next file. I need to also say that this only started happening since the last couple of updates. Don't take it the wrong way. I still love it!
