Better than anything else I've tried, but it pales to compare with the desktop version. I can't edit nor even view metadata and every time I add an album, the whole db/cache gets screwed up (album appears with the wrong artist, name, etc.) A full rescan doesn't fix it, I have to disable then re-enable the music library to make it work. I hope this gets fixed because scanning 5000 songs takes ages. Apart from that, the app is responsive and uses replaygain. And there are no ads, which is a must.

Worked great until the (1.51) update, then the app somehow lost the ability to play without gaps between tracks. How important is this to me? Enough to dock three stars. As of the current (mid october) version (1.62) everything seems to be working again, so add one star for finally fixing the app that the authors broke in the first place with no obvious benefits to anyone in return.

Overall it's a great app, it is quite easy to setup and use. I love that you can connect to it your FTP share which contains music library. One minor issue - if you use FTP to connect to your share, the seekbar does not work. It would be good to fix it on next updates, otherwise if you want to skip some part of the song, it's not possible. Would be great to have SMB share support as well. UPDATE (29-SEPT-2024): Many thanks for fixing the issues with seekbar and for added SMB share support!

I've been using this app for about 6 years or more. It does a good job. I have a very large collection of music. Foobar does a good job of sifting through it with ease. I enjoy the last couple updates. I can see the bitrate and the format of the song which is nice. I can also properly use playlists now, adding songs on the fly.

I've been using foobar2000 both on my phone and my PC since it was released for the respective platform. Now I have a problem, please help. YesterdayI installed an ftp server (Wing FTP free edition) on my PC so I can listen on my phone to my collection on the PC via Wi-Fi. When I select a .flac file, everything is OK. But when I select an m3u or other playlist, playback begins but there's no slider and I can't seek into the file, which is rather annoying. What am I doing wrong?

Request. Could you please give option - play once and stops the playlist once it played a single song then I press next track it'll play next song and it'll stop and doesn't go to next track these are present in apps like poweramp, neutron player and even my favorite AIMP. Thank you. Foobar2000 is also One of the best apps in my list.

Very strong player with almost all of the features of Windows, e.g. can open just about anything, very fast, even APE which desktop needs an extension for. I just wish it had visualizers like the VU and peak meters.

Great but missing 1 setting!! Would be great if you could sort by date the songs were added to the folder they are in... Would be nice to listen in the correct order...
