Downloaded the app to record a voicemail for work. You know, it takes a couple of tries. And every time you record something, you're met with a really annoying unskippable, loud as hell video ad that takes you out of your focus instantly. So I immediately uninstalled the app and downloaded an app called Record You on FDroid, which is the same functionality as this app but with no ads. I cannot stand advertising of this nature, and I find it to be incredibly abrasive.

This has been a great app for recording live music for me and I had it installed on my previous Android phone and it worked flawlessly. However after installing the latest version on my new Samsung, I was shocked to find that all of my recordings over the last few days only recorded the very first minute and then silence for the remaining of the recording time. I think this had to do with me pressing the lock screen button after which it seemed that it would turn off the microphone

I use it regularly for a quick recording. A little hard to navigate, but after you leave a review it will probably stop asking for one when you are trying to maneuver back to the main menu. Fewer ads would be nice, but I guess they gotta pay the bills! Has a nice trim feature and files are easy to rename and replay.

I just put my heart and my soul into recording what I felt to be the most beautiful song I've ever written. When I played it back, it only recorded like a minute of it and the rest is blank. This has happened to me several times with this app. This one really stings. I will never have those words back. It was on the fly and perfect notes, not memorized and now possibly forgotten. .I've never done anything like that and it's gone. I hate this app with all my heart.

Mostly works well. There have been a couple instances where I thought a recording saved, but then I would go to play it and it wasn't there. I can't explain what happened as I'm sure I recorded them and saved them :( 4/15/24 update: I'm getting very frequent instances of the audio in my recording cutting off after about a minute. Important conversations I needed to record for later are just not there. Simply can't use this app anymore.

Switched rating from 5 to 1 stars. On my last few recordings I discovered the hard way that the sound goes off one minute after the screen goes off. If you turn the screen back on the sound will start recording again, but I need to be able to record even when the screen is off. Also, when you end a recording a menu comes up. If you accidentally hit Delete (which is right next to the Back button on my phone) there's no prompt to confirm - it's just gone forever and then a loud ad starts playing.

I'm using the app to record and submit a voiceover script for a project. The recording quality is great! Noise suppression really works - I'm just using my phone mic not a headset, and I can't hear anything in the background. -4 stars because the app continues to prompt me to use background recording at every navigation away from the recording screen (play, rename, edit, etc.) I did not get this app to do background recording, I should only be prompted ONCE as I can always change this setting.

Good app but I would have liked to see full editing capability. Also I would like a trim feature with 2 buttons. (1) set start and (2) set stop: To allow fine control of start/stop trimming. Basically I record 3 to 4 songs at a time but trimming becomes difficult as the start/stop marker can't be precisely. With the expected the markers could be adjusted while trimming songs.
