This is a really good app, just a few bug issues since the new update has come out. When I click "today" in the calendar, it goes up to a month back or month forward. I can no longer open links/calls from the app. Before, I was able to highlight the link or a telephone number, and it would give me the option to call or open the browser, which was really helpful.
Heat Technologies
Twice they've tried to implement an update, and twice it has failed miserably. Fails to sync, fails to login. Forced to uninstall the updated software and reinstall the old software yet again (losing any information created since the update). Wont answer the phone anymore. Theyre also stopping Xero integration soon. Abandon ship! I'm testing out other software as £40 a month for this is a joke.

Ok experience so far. Xero integration works well. I use the calendar, issue certs and invoices which is great. The problem is bugs: Invoice totals are now correct, but the gas rate calc is buggy, creating an invoice from the calendar and selecting new job asks for the name and address (which it already knows) and invoice total and amount outstanding sometimes don't match. It does save time; it was amazing when I first used it, but now with the price increase you need to raise your game.

I have used this App since the beginning. It is great for me as everything is covered for running my business. When I have any issues....usually my own incompetence...the staff are brilliant, very patient with me whilst sorting out every issue that has bothered me. £216 per year is for nothing for the benefits it offers. I would recommend to anyone especially those not too tech savvy.

Still haven't upgraded the commercial certification. I believe Everycert is from the same software company and this provides the best certificate configuration for less that half the price. Admittedly it hasn't got all the knobs and whistles but if you want to provide your clients with digitised certs this is the better way to go. I have asked several times about the commercial certs and been told "oh it will be in the next update" but it never is. Shame really, some what disappointed.

Having spent years doing paperwork in the evenings and weekends I thought I'd give this a free try and see if it truly could free me up. Brilliant! I can achieve everything on-site. Initially it was taking a little longer to input the details but I know it will pay off in the long run having an electronic history of the jobs with full notes that only I can see if necessary. I started off purely using it to issue certificates but it can do so much more. Any queries I've had have been dealt with. Highly recommend.

Gas Engineer software is great for keeping records. I never had time to chase up outstanding invoices, now this is done automatically and for the first time in 11 years of trading I have no overdue invoices. That said there are a few small changes that could make it better, I have used support on a few occasions and they're very helpful and have made changes already. I linked my account to an accounting software app and I have experienced a few problems which I have overcome but not without a bit of a struggle, but this was the accounting app fault and not Gas Engineer. When entering new events on the calendar, you choose an Activity type from a drop down list giving the following options, meeting, call, to do, quote, installation, servicing, plumbing, reference, repairs, training, unconfirmed, business holidays, & employee holidays. It would be very helpful if this could be editable to re-order, delete or add more relevant options such as, Gas Safety Record, Gas work, Attend to.. Also when booking in a job on the calendar that lasts for more than a day it moves to the top of the calendar, it would be more helpful if it blocked out in the main body of the calendar as normal.

Stunning app well worth the small monthly fee for what it does. Saves time and money. It is great for auto reminders for all your customers and keeps all the records. I would love if it synced with my TPI flue gas analyser which has Bluetooth functionality . Let's see what they come up with on the new updates. Also it would be nice to modernise the buttons within the app to make it feel a bit more clean and modern, other than these minor points it is very functional. Thanks Gas engineer Software.
