Not a good app. Doesn't tell you how much hot spot data you've used & doesn't show the devices that you can purchase to use on this network. All of their customer service reps are located overseas and I can't even tell you how many times they gave me incorrect information or otherwise screwed something up majorly on my account. Probably the worst wireless company I've ever had in my entire life & naturally their corresponding app is no better. I just switched carriers to Metro & so happy I did!

GenMobile is by far the WORST: from the mediocre phone & wi-fi services to the disaster of a customer service dept! You can't access your acct online but are directed to the app which is a useless MESS! Nothing works (ex. none of the payment links work) and info displayed about your acct is wrong (ex. usage info). They push using the app but all the review responses from them here say to contact customer service to resolve issues. Isn't the purpose of the app to avoid having to call them??

What a horrible Lifeline provider! Because they are so horrible (randomly turning off my phone, ppl can not get a hold of me even though I have wifi and am sitting right by it!) So now I am trying to transfer service to hopefully a competent provider. Gen mobile now has cut off my service before I even have a sim card from SafeLink. You have been warned Gen mobile is a horrible cell phone company!

I had bought one of their phones and it's already not working. It's only been about 6 months. The phone keeps freezing up. I called and was told the warranty is up already. It only had a month warranty apparently. I kinda disappointed that I can't get a replacement.

This is absolute the worst service provider. I've had this phone for about a year. I had data issues from the start. I have never been able to send an image through text messaging to this day. I have called the company every single month because about a week or so before my bill is due I don't have data on a unlimited plan. The app functions do not work. Their auto pay doesn't work properly. I'm supposed to get $15 off and yet they charge me the full amount. Better off with Metro or cricket

This company cut my phone off before the date to pay my bill. They didn't want to send me any text messages or written communication that my my autopay was cancelled. Then when I asked if I could speak with a supervisor concerning my account. I was put on hold and no one never returned to the phone.

‼️SCAMSCAMSCAM ALERTGEN MOBILE REPS ARE CHARGING FOR FREE PHONES. THEY TELL ONE CUSTOMER THEY ARE DENIED THEN TURN AROUND &SELL THE SAME DEVICE TO ANOTHER CUSTOMER WITH THE OTHER PERSONS INFO DENYING FREE PHONES/TABLETS TO MAKE MONEY‼️No option for starting an account. Only for existing app accounts. The app is so simple it isn't useful at all. ALSO THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE ‼️ YOUR SERVICE WILL BE INTERUPTED WITHOUT NOTICE ‼️ HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE BAD RECEPTION (NOT TMOBILE OR SPRINT)
