Convey is a fully integrated software platform for commercial vehicle, drivers’ hours and working time compliance and management. The platform also includes driver licence checking.The Convey Driver App has been designed with drivers in mind.
Convey Performance makes it easy for you to monitor performance, comply with legal requirements and most importantly keep your drivers on the road.
The Performance module allows online and mobile management of driver performance and risk.
With a clear and simple user interface, recording WalkAround checks electronically could not be easier. This will ensure a smooth transition from the old paper defect book.
The Convey system continually captures and stores WalkAround data as checks are completed by drivers. Log into the Convey website to analyse the defect status of individual vehicles and the whole fleet.
The data provides an on-going record of the status of each vehicle, establishes a compliance record for internal reporting and proof for enforcement agencies. This helps avoid costly business disruptions.
The Convey Driver App is smartphone or tablet based, this enables updates to happen in real time. The Depot or Transport Management Team will be made aware of any defects as soon as they are raised.
The Convey Driver App also works off-line. If there is a temporary lack of access to the Internet, you can still use the App. As soon as the Internet is available again checks are synchronised with the Convey website.
The WalkAround uses GPS to record the precise location at each point of a check, this information is also available on a map on the Convey website. This gives you confidence genuine compliance checks are being completed where and when you would expect them to be.
The Tachograph module allows drivers to view their tachograph records, see their availability to work/drive and view their infringements.

Why does your location need to be on throughout using the app? Sync takes far too long to upload, using the app locks using your phones features, it's not acceptable having 1 app over ride the devices basic functions, poor software! You also need to include a timer b/c when the app glitches as it often does, it restarts the timer & companies use that to discipline you for not taking long enough for checks. Biggest issue is not being able to use my torch b/c convey "might" be using it.

CheckedSafe is so much better, I presume bigger benefits for the transport office with Convey but its just a pain. Too many photos demanded, too many buttons to close together? Take pictures of all 4 sides of the unit & then want 4 of the trailer, I should focus on checks. Photos should be of issues only, tacho confirms you are in the truck. Walking around in the dark with a tablet in one hand & torch in the other is not conducive to good checks. Just seems cheap & poorly thought out.

Good stable app so far, Needs a few tweaks, Need to able to record trailer numbers on the walkround also just a trailer walk round when doing a drop and swap, Also needs the ability to record fault rectification, ie you spot a bulb out and change it so you can go back into the previous check and mark it as fixed with an explanation ie bulb changed by driver, DVSA like to see stuff spotted and fixed! Lastly a function to upload our own card, there are cheap card readers Amazon,

i have had this app installed on all 16 of our drivers phones. we have been using it now for over 2 months and it's working well. we are now a paperless defect reporting company. we have had it tailor made to our operational needs and have had great support from the developers. the drivers like it and as it's very user friendly.

Installed this app for work on my phone. Was great at first but then I could no longer sync anything. Tried unistalling and installing but no change. Quite a few other drivers have had the same problem. Would appreciate a reason for this so I can let the other guys know.

Excellent app! I have used it for a few months now and never had any issues. The design and layout is really simple to use. A great paperless time saving tool. Keep up the good work Convey!

Sotry for down grading my 2 stars. I had to delete the app for the 4th time in 6 months i use for work purposes. Speaking to my fellow colleagues, they had the same problem as I had you could not access the camera.

Like the app alot , not first time lve used it but having to uninstall and reload every couple of days because l can't access the camera . Bit of a pain....
