OK, I need to lose a wee bit of weight - a few stone - but felt I wanted to do it my way.
I didn't want to be stuck with a book or someones fad or some multinational company to tell me how fabulous I am while taking my money.
I needed to monitor my weight daily so I didn't go off the rails at the weekend and try and suffer/fast in the week to lose it again for a weigh-in. Along the way I would like to see how others do - fairly anonymously - hence the 'Race' part.
The 'Rules' are mine but I'm sure you would do well to follow them too. I need to lose the weight so I can grow old with my health and be there for my kids.
