Works great, and seems secure. No Android permissions requested, and works offline (in airplane mode). The privacy policy is a little confusing, though, and seems to suggest that some info may be shared with unnamed third parties. It would be good to have a more explicit description of potential third party sharing. It may just be typical boilerplate language, but an encryption app needs everything to be clearly and explicitly stated. The developer may need the services of a lawyer! 😀

Have thoroughly tested this app. Handles both alpha and numeric characters. Many don't. Also facilitates copy and paste functions to both SMS and email messaging with both encrypt and decrypt functions. In other words there are no hidden characters generated that SMS and email messaging will miss. Have found that to be a problem with several encryption apps. If you're looking for a methodology to encrypt and decrypt messages with your phone this app is very user intuitive and easy to use.

I have NFC tags and do not want people reading them. problem is android does not support the special NFC tags that do authentication. so..... copy text to app, add password, paste the encrypted text to NFC, done. now you do need the app to decrypt, but that is fine.

This is a great app however, if someone send an encrypted message made from this app and you press decrypt accidentally two times (of course you have to put the password) the decrypted message will be gone. Also if you want to encrypt the text you type (you put password) and you accidentally press the decrypt button which is just beside encrypt button your text will disappear and you will have to start to type all over again, over all this app is reliable considering its very small size.

This app does it's job well. There's definitely some UI and workflow improvements that could be made. However, this app is a trusty workhorse. Its rare these days to find security-focused appa that don't ask for permissions beyond what they really need to serve your need. This app requires zero additional privileges. It's not an app I have to use a lot but its one I would hate to be without.

Really nice little app. A useful additional feature would be to have an option to blank out the password so it can't be read by others but otherwise it does exactly what I need 👍

App works, bad security. This app uses the AES/CBC/PKCS5Padding algorithm which produces the same output for identicle messages: that's a security flaw. Also, the app connects to the internet so I can't be sure that it's not sending my data to the creator of the app.

Edit and Added - does not work anymore with Samsung S21 Ultra with 13th December update 2021 i love this app.. i use totaly wacko password that i generated with keepass and i click on encrypt button like 10 times and my message is like a wall of text of rubbish unless you have pass and press decrypt 10 times. this should be default message encryption for hackers, terrorists and more? am i wrong or not?
