This is a very good app. Unfortunately, I can't give 5 stars ratings because the feature - Circle to search. When I launch the app using this feature by pressing the shortcut at the bottom of the phone, the screen have a translucent grey layer on top. I pressed the translate button. The content will be translated, but the translated content will have a grey layer on top of the content, which is difficult to read (especially for senior). Is it possible to improve it? Thank you.

This has helped me so many times trying to figure out what things were, but the real winner here is the translate option! I've never used it before until now! I recently bought something where the instructions were in another language. Pulled up Google Lens and was able to translate it. I actually started my screen recorder, and I clicked the "listen" open to have it read. Now when I go to put this together, I'll just play the screen recording and pause it whenever I need to!

When it 1st launched it was great! Now even when specific it often ignores the query search and shows irrelavent results! Say I am looking for a rose pintuck blouse~Lens shows me other items and colors totally unrelated to the photo or wording! Waste of time and very irritating as I feel it is all about advertising and not what the person requests in words and screenshot image!!!! Renders it almost useless especially since it was great in the beginning!!!!!!!!!!

This thing is bugged. I tried photos to search and it said block because of search filter. Even though it was explicit. I double check the safes search filter. And it wasn't even on. So I closed everything out try to research it again. Didn't work. So it saying safe search is on but it ain't. I'm on no network. I'm grown and own the phone. So no parental controls are own. (You don't have permission to change your SafeSearch setting. It's locked by safety settings applied to this browser)

Identifies well known things immediately and accurately. A few times when I've tried having it identify something random and/or rare it hasn't been right and if it does get it it's only after a few tries. But that's only when I'm going out of my way to try to stump it so that's not a fair review. Normally its 100% accurate in seconds...

Lens is an extremely useful app that I use just about every single day. Circle to search works too, but that results in text with no formatting. No paragraphs - just a long string of words, so I never use that function. To grab a screen of text (on my Pixel) I press volume up and power at the same time. Then I press the share icon and choose "Lens." Voila! Even if the source is in multiple languages it flawless translates it all (or not, if you prefer). Great job Google!

Fast accurate n most importantly accessibility is VG but could be better, as I still have 2 back out n open the app itself which by means is still way less of an hassle then doing it manually saving us time on researching cutting straight to the point eliminating the cookie cutter while still being informative! 4 accessibility instead of having to back out 2 open app, I suggest being able to circle or highlight that we want info on with the option 2 access lens or make extension 4 browser!

Best app ever. I use it to search anything. To identify almost anything. Coins, flowers, rocks, cars, buildings, products in store or online. Even the prices of items plus where to find them and it gives info on things you lens. You can translate languages or have it read aloud the text on screen. It will do your homework. I even us it to bust scammers on FB. It's not as easy to use with Reddit as you have to download the pic. Just improve facial rec on normal people and it be near perfect.
